Dragons in CC need removed from the game.

Since the changes to Dragons now being insane amount of splash, Dragons inside the CC are actually extremely annoying, when people have a good base which is very hard to bait and you just go in with the bad AI of the game and the overpowered splash of dragons, units get burned to ashes. We should not have to be so concerned about one unit ruining entire raids in wars nearly every person has lvl 5 dragons in their cc now, and to be honest it makes the game worse than before. I do not want to have to bait a cc every damn time and be in situations of bases were I cant bait it and have to just attack and hope the wizards or archers or the Queen actually think to shoot the dragon burning everything to ashes. Remove the ability to even put Dragons into the Clan Castle and the game would be far better of, the clan castle should have limits to what is aloud put inside it.

Btw the AI changes you made have made this game alot less fun, I am surprised people aren't asking for refunds considering the AI changes have totally screwed the gameplay. I can not believe supercell made the decision to even give dragons splash, what you didnt think that in defence they wont be a problem, being able to annihilate almost everything within seconds because of splash.

People whom say bait is the solution that is not the solution that is theory craft and situational and if baiting is all people do what is the point of even having any clan castle defence to begin with. The solution is changes to AI as well as removing of Dragon from CC, it should not even be permitted such a unit into the CC for defence. Dragon are fine enough on offence but for defence it should be restricted. Make clan castles not be able to be baited and just remove the OP units in them and the game would be alot better. With poison spell you might well just remove the defence clan castle anyway, it either op dragons or units that die to poison, game has become worse over time. I regret investing so much money into it.

Huh? Dragon are low dps. They do about the same amount of damage as ONE wizard. Rage your wizards and kill the dragon if you don't want to bait.

The reason they are annoying is they are overpowered since becoming a splash unit, the defence is to powerful. And having to even bait and kill them is frustrating and doesnt always go to plan because of the games horrible AI.

I know some agree with me, there is always the prideful I can do no wrong bsers as well. Which even if they had been killed by the dragons splash wont admit it.

I just love the theory crafters, AI doesnt always do what you want it to do specially with the changes. They do decent amount damage and it splash don't call it low dps.

funny.. I love seeing dragon in CC. because they're absolutely won't ruin my raid that much.

Their slow attack barely affect golems, and wizard/Queen will definitely kill it as long as you funnel them to the center

Theory crafter? I'm at 4500 cups right now, and I farmed over 1.95 billion gold. What trophy range are you at? CC drag does nothing to golems. They buy plenty of time for your support wiz to kill the cc drag. Learn how to keep your golems in front of your wizards like everyone else instead of crying on the internet.

Dragons are fine in the cc, what is not fine is troop and hero reaction.... I am tired of watching troops hit buildings while in range of cc troops. It is bad programming that needs to be addressed. Not holding my breath tho, it is what it is.

no, actually, can you tell us what troops composition that you use?

Dragons = simple to lure, slow moving, simple to kill...unless you don't plan for them. Poison has meant almost every castle has the same, or almost the same, set-up...simples

Max drag/loon CC can put in more work on max golems than you'd think. Yes, they are easy to dispose of but if left unchecked they can put a pretty large dent into your attack force while you have 9+ other max defenses and max royals hitting your troops.

There's never a guaranteed outcome attacking a max TH10 (be it in war or cup hunting). CC's, pathing, and troop/royal A.I can make all the difference and also quickly become the bane of your existence.

With poison so abundant now, they're pretty much all you see as well as hounds. Max drags with a few loons/valk are pretty good in CC's in all fairness and they can put out a good amount of damage as well.

Our 4700+ titan players actually request them on defense quite often.

On topic though should they be removed from CCs? Lol no, OP was a little off based. Personally I find a max hound much more annoying. Max drags might be OP though in CC's for those little TH6/7s however ;).

Don't worry, the way SC is thinking, they will soon introduce a Mega Poison Spell which will even get rid of a max golem in seconds, so yea...

Wizards lvl5, giants lvl7, archer lvl7, bombers lvl 5 mostly. heros are lvl10 both them. normally use 4 earthquakes plus 1 poison and healing and rage for rest

Golems only lvl1 im only mid range in the game not fully upgraded, lower tiers are being giving lvl5 dragons also it becomes abit of problem. I am upgrading golem to lvl2 though now and will get lvl3 after.

Personally I think cladh has one of the best AL's from other mobile games.Sure it's not 100% always but its damn near enough

pride doesn't help, it not like overnight you got to 4500, most ive got to is masters im middle range. playing for about a year in total. Did buy some gems overtime so prob about 500 all up spent, made mistake of wasting them best purchase was the builders maxing them.

You could say your point without saying 'Look at me im 4500 cups' you have to admit not all situations are the same so some theory crafting is always involved.

Rushed maybe? CC in general in defence is made to give attackers problems. Dragon in cc is not a big problem unless not lured then it might turn to be a big problem. So lure it, kill it & proceed to attack :)

Think his main point was in that range, it's all max TH10's with 40/40's and huge war/cup armies every raid (usually heavy golem based as well).

They are prepared to deal with max drags.... and max wiz along with the queen can decimate any max drag in seconds that comes out of the CC especially under a rage.

Max drags are strong but they aren't so OP they need to be removed from CC defense as this topic so claims. Especially on max 10's in titan. They are an easy pull and lure, and in the event you don't lure a simple rage with wiz clears the dragon before it even gets a chance to attack typically.

I can understand maybe for all those poor TH6/7 raiders and suddenly a max drag pops out and you get one of those "oh ♥♥♥♥" moments....lol.

Switch up your kill strategy maybe?

Dragons are really easy, I kill them with a total of maybe 2-3 wiz and 5 archers. Or I'll have 2witches in my cc and then it's reallllly easy. Just drop an arch right below it everytime it breathes fire while 2 wiz sit off and blast it

Just bait the dragon and kill it, it isn't too hard, or if you are using a raid with golems such as gowipe let the golem take the dmg from the dragon while your wizards and archer queen kill it!

With the inclusion of the poison spell, you can easily kill a max level dragon with a level 3 dragon and a poison spell!!

Maybe what we should really be talking about is the 4 earthquake spells you bring on raids. Now that is something that might actually be worth addressing as OP.

From what I understand, the dragons fire has had a splash damage radius for quite some time now. I haven't seen any change in the dragons attack, both defense and offense.

A year ago, they still had splash damage. March 12th, 2013 is when they were given splash damage, according to the wiki. Only change recently is you'really seeing more of them because of the nefarious poison spell. All you need to do is adjust fire and be prepared for them.

Look, people have been dealing with drags in cc' s for quite some time now, and nobody has really had any issues with them, I know I haven't. So, learn to adapt or get rekt, simple as that.

Ps, ever heard of minions, I find them to be a great counter to drags

A drag in cc takes 5 -7 archers and 1-2 wizards to kill, is one of the easiest ccs to pull (after a lavahound) and is not hard at all to deal with... defensive ccs are way too easy to kill, just need to know how to...

I would rather deal with a dragon than witches in CC.

I completely agree. It is really annoying to see enemy cc troops killing mine while my queen and wizards keep shooting the storage. Melee troops react fine, but ranged troops really need to re-target faster.

I really don't mind the AI. What you have to do is work with it so you can do the best you can.
If a troop goes one way, well it is its choice. You have to admit, you are sending your troops in to get killed, so they might not think exactly as you do.

So you find something annoying, and so want it removed? :facepalm:

Dragons are easy to take out, learn to adapt.

I had already told him to learn how to keep his wizzies alive, and rage them to kill cc drag. He dismissed my suggestion and called it me a theory crafter. I don't stack my golems, thus dragon aren't very effective against my golems.

Must someone always complain on something? max TH10s can loot TH8s too. Its annoying. Should we remove that? Pffft...

GoWiPe or GoWiWi + rage when the CC troops hit come to you. Is it really that hard? damn.

I have no AQ in my mini last war as I performed a quad laloon spam since we're all ahead on points...lured out the cc and killed it with 20 archers before i spammed...haha fun attack.

bottomline, all you need to do is to set your plan nicely before performing any raid.

There have always been dragons in quite a few CCs, and no matter what the CC troop, you have always needed to get them isolated and kill them for most attack strategies to work in war.

That really has not changed, it is just the proportion of CCs which have dragons is a bit higher.

It really doesn't matter in the least what you call it.

The FACT is that dragons are quite easy to kill.

And calling people "theory crafters" because they have more practical experience than you isn't exactly helpful.

I'm with you on this one. Same for the continued attack of an elixir pump while getting blasted by a cannon. You would think that if something is killing you, you might shoot back instead of collecting that last 100 elixir. Just a thought.

I'm with you on this one. Same for the continued attack of an elixir pump while getting blasted by a cannon. You would think that if something is killing you, you might shoot back instead of collecting that last 100 elixir. Just a thought.

Dragons aren't a problem in the Clan Castle. Before they were actually very popular in them (aside from wizards) before the poison spell. They are honestly one of the easiest troops to kill because they have slow reaction times and tak forever to do anything. Wizards in the clan castle are more deadly than dragons (before the poison spell).

However, because something is annoying to you and you never took the time to learn how to kill a dragon (2 wizards and archers can kill one easily), it should be removed?

You make it sound like dragons just got splash damage in the most recent update. They may have gotten more splash, I don't know. But they have always had splash for as long as I've played.

The reason, for me at least, pre-July Update, that I liked having witches, wizards and archers in my CC was that it did make it harder to lure as you had to lure each troop one by one. This made so many people who attacked me stop luring with a few archers or a wizard in my cc left, which helped defend.

People were more than capable of putting dragons in their CC pre-July Update.

Now with Poison spell, it doesn't matter to lure... so that changed the CC dynamic back to using dragons since it can't be simply killed with a single poison spell but it makes it easier to lure and still not difficult to kill.

Personally, I'd rather be able to use archers and wizards for the long lure again....

Dragons are one of the easiest CC troops to dispatch. Unfortunately, with the poison spell, there aren't many great options any longer.

What needs to be done, is to go back in time and not do poison the way they did it.

Poison is an easy button that panders to the unskilled whining masses who can't handle witch/wizard class castles.

Poison negates skill.

You can't handle CC dragons? Learn to handle them or stop going to war.

I love seeing dragons in the clan castle. Level 5? Who cares! They take up a lot of space in the cc so there is no need to waste extra troops trying to lure every last troop out.

Just get them to a corner drop a couple barbs and do a half circle of archers or some wizards and your problem is solved. I have a level 7 TH in my clan that disposes of level 5 dragons with ease. OP you just need to work on taking care of the cc, it is war strategy 101.

OP there are multiple things you can do. If the main problem is that troops aren't targeting the dragon then you need to take into account that the aggro radius of your troops to enemy troops was decreased. Therefore your troops need to be within that decreased distance from the dragon as it attacks your other troops in order to sense and attack it. The splash damage is also easily remedied, just make sure not to bunch up your troops. There are numerous videos online that explain how to deal with dragons, with or without a lure. Consult one of those before coming to the forums about getting a unit removed.

Baiting is actually not the way to deal with drags in the cc!, unless your raiding with Giants or balloons, then you have no choice but to bait. But with tanking units such as gooems and pekkas, you can have your wiz easily take out the drag as he is focused on your high HP tanks. It isn't a huge factor in GoWiPe and GoWiWi as long as everything is executed well. When using hogs, Giants, or balloons, you can easily kill a dragon in 30 s with 20 or so archers. If you don't have enough troops to do that, just drop one troop on a corner and continue your attack, the dragon is fairly slow and you should get your troops to the core before the dragon does much.

Just distract it with a couple barbs, throw a couple wizards at it, and keep deploying the barbs one by one towards the dragon to keep it facing the other way while the wizards vaporize the dragon. Or, you can encircle the dragon with archers, and add in a couple wizards behind the archers. You can also use 2 max witches in the clan castle, where you through a couple barbs for distraction at the dragon, then deploy the witches, where they will both deploy their skeletons. Since the witches will keep deploying skeletons over and over again, it will be a never ending wave of skeletons for the dragon to take on, rendering the dragon to be distracted the whole time while the witches inflict their damage on the dragon. Add in a couple wizards, and you will be killing dragons with ease.

Yup, that's what I used to do when I barch farm: feed the dragon one barb at a time while 10-20 archers kill the dragon. For high level pushing, most wouldn't have that many barbs/archers to kill the dragon, thus golem/pekka tank while wiz kills the drag.

People whom say bait is the solution that is not the solution that is theory craft and situational and if baiting is all people do what is the point of even having any clan castle defence to begin with. The solution is changes to AI as well as removing of Dragon from CC, it should not even be permitted such a unit into the CC for defence. Dragon are fine enough on offence but for defence it should be restricted. Make clan castles not be able to be baited and just remove the OP units in them and the game would be alot better. With poison spell you might well just remove the defence clan castle anyway, it either op dragons or units that die to poison, game has become worse over time. I regret investing so much money into it.

Keep in mind the TH6, TH7, and TH8 in this world too. For them, a dragon could be a large part of their defense. (Especially for a th6. It's like being expected to defend without your inferno towers.)

Can't tell you how many times I've forgotten my poison spell and had to waste 30 Archers taking out 20 same/higher level Archers, while I can kill a level 4 and below with 15-25 Archers. Not sure about level 5 dragon, have not encountered one yet.

Dragons r tough but they shouldn't remove it

What other choice is there since the intro of poison spell? I'm just loading up all the castles with level 5 drags now for our next war. Hope to come across your clan soon.
