Yes, myself & a few clanmates use this strategy for farming DE, although it's always nice to pick a base that you can hit a few juicy Elixir storages on the way, to pay for those max healers!
Personally I've used it around C2, with AQ from 15-19, & look for minimum 2k DE each time, the best being 4.4k (some in CC iirc)
It can also be used for collector raids by just making one funnel break & doing the "AQ walk" around the outside, but this can expose the healers to Air Defs if set too deep for AQ to pick off...........

To defend against it make sure your air defences can not be reached from the queen(ie put them in second or first layer behind two walls or four spaces then a wall thus she has to go through the wall to get it), that way she avoids them and the healers die. And put your air sweepers in the corner out of range from the queen and face them towards an air defence so it will push all the healers into the range of an air defence and keep loons away from the one near it. Keep air defences and air sweepers maxed. If possible have the archer towers on the outer and second layer but out of reach from one side so they can pick the healers off. Put teslas behind walls and out of reach if possible and you want them to hit Wallbreakers that are dropped too early or to spring up when the cc troops attack her for more dps. Learn to lure the queen with smart building placement so the air defence can get her close but not able to attack her. Definitely put wizard towers in second layer where the healers might get close because they do a good clean with an air defence. Make a deliberate walk way to the centre that the queen will follow and line up your air defences for the healers(must keep them out of queens range). Fill your cc with dragons, balloons or/and lava hounds. Dragons and balloons take time to kill and have high dps, while lava hound has 6700 hit points which will take more than 20seconds to kill and will have 12 additional lava pups to take even more time. Don't fill cc with small troops as it is so easy to kill everything with one poison. Wizards, witches, 35barbs or archers will not do anything to an experienced queen-healer raider. A lot of people use minions to clean the outside buildings so the queen doesn't circle, so two air bombs well placed where they always attack is a great idea.

Don't know if anyone has posted this before but first off, you shouldn't worry about your AD placement as the range of the Queen and Healers outreach the range of an AD. Instead, focus on a ring design such as the Hypercube: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...9-Farming-Base

It features an islanded DE storage compartment which manipulates the AQs range and makes her traverse around the core instead od heading into it- this is more common after the Hero AI 'fix' where they would rather diverge to the sides rather than hit a wall.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think its a OP attack, but I dont blame anyone for using it, ill prolly be doing the same thing here in a month or two lol. if It works it works and all is fair in love and war. I think drags are way too OP at th7 but that doesn't stop my mini account from flattening other th7s and weak 8s with them every war.

I just started doing this a couple of weeks back to get dark and am doing it with only a level 10 AQ... My big fails have been against pekka defender before I knew to save her ability .. Wiz or loons I can usually handle with poison and or my minions . Obviously I do not Attack inferno bases and my general rule of thumb is 2000 dark or more . Most of my " failures " now are if I misplay my funnels and she destroys the exterior of the base but even that has been good with the boosted gold and elixir out there . The attacker can generally defeat most AD placements but there have been clever bases that can funnel the queen into a high dps zones and give a level10 queen problems . I often tRy to run with 7 healers but most tougher bases required 9 it appears

very powerful Attack overall and one I recommmend so you can learn queen pathing if nothing else .

While it is good for raiding, I'm surprised she is fast enough to 3-star in war.

I've only been hit by it once so far, as a TH9 rexcently moved into Masters 3.

I've been using a reduced version to good effect myself for a week or two now, though my queen is only level 5 so far, and healers won't be maxed for another 2 days.

What others have said... lvl6 loons in cc. I run this strategy when de farming for big hero upgrades and if loons come out it hit cancel every time

I was hit by this a few times pre update and was also looking for a fix.
However post update i wasnt hit a single time by this attack. In fact it must have been a month since anyone has even targeted my de storage (though its been full all this time).
Id recommend leveling up your th9 defences as quickly as u can + using a ring design like the one that was just posted earlier.

A max pekka in your CC will 1-shot a queen at level 14 or lower. If the queen is higher than 14 she might get KO'd by the hits combined with defensive power so I advise packing teslas and xbows in the core for this.

If someone does super queen on you with a level 30+ queen there's not really much you can do though.
