Player block function for clan leader

Good morning everyone,

I would like to suggest the addition of a "block player" function for the clan leader. This would be a very useful function to disallow players that have been kicked or part ways from a clan on bad terms from trying to return. Our clan has had an issue with newer players accepting old players that got kicked awhile back and then they spam chat or something like that.

Our clan is also having a large issue with one player that was sexually harassing another player and making ♥♥♥♥ threats. Before you think I'm exaggerating know that we are an adult clan, I'm 32 and the player that was getting harassed is 37. Several players have reported him several times but supercell neglected to do anything about it. He continues to appear now and then asking to join to clan and always put some kind of inappropriate content in his request message directed at that same player. In short we don't want to see him anymore and this block function would work great as it could be linked to a players #tag so if they change their name it wont matter.

I'm sure other clans would benefit from this as well, please post your thoughts.

I have kicked people after they joined our clan because they weren't a good fit. I even told them why I kicked them. and yet, they STILL send a request to join the clan. Do you know how annoying that is? I kicked these people weeks ago and every other day, their request pops up.

Some people will not take the hint that a clan doesn't want them. There NEEDS to be a way to permanently block or ban somebody from requesting to join a clan.

I thought only elder+ could accept requests.

If guy keeps accepting someone into group, demote guy and kick someone.

This is a great idea. Now with the name change, people will get kicked, change their name and then join back a few weeks later as a totally different and new person. This would fix this issue, or if you get rejected from a clan, the amount of time you are "banned" from the clan should be increased.

If you are kicked, you shouldn't be able to join back for a week, maybe.

Just close the clan.

I have a player that requests to be in our clan every other day or so. It's annoying. I don't want to close the clan, we still allow new players.

Not a good solution...

Don't ask supercell to make this game into a kinder garden for all just because YOU have no control over your clan

Just fix the problem yourself or deal with the consequences ...

Seems like a management problem to me.

Just set your clan to Invite Only, and don't let him in. Also, it bans him from trying again for 24H, so I don't see the problem.

@Selina: I don't understand the point you are trying to make. I fail to understand how asking for implementation of the ability for clan leaders to "ban" players would be asking supercell to turn clash into kindergarden. You also say to fix the problem myself, which is why I am suggesting the implementation of this. At present the game only gives you so much control over a clan, this would just add another level to that control, I fail to see the downside to that.

@Cally: What you are suggesting is only a patch, not a fix. its like saying the best way to deal with telemarketing calls is to just never answer the phone. Players can change names now and it so happens that I kicked someone, he changed his name and base design then rejoined a few days later and bailed right at the start of war in payback. Others just request to join everyday. It gets old and the right now the game has no way to stop this from happening short of "closing" the clan.

Good idea, however, there are 2 other solutions; tell the elders and co-leaders to stop accepting them or they'll be demoted.Therefpre, if they accept them again, then demote them. Furthermore, you can just close your clan. :D:p:straightface:
