What is the max amount of elders and coleaders you can have in a clan?
I'm sure no one is going to respond to this, but you can still join my clan called dont_advertise_on_my_threads.
all members can be coleader/elder, except for leader of course

In my clan, I just give out promotions to who deserves them.
Almost everyone in my clan is either elder or co. All of my co's are longterm members and have a solid track record of looking out for the clan and being an all around good clan mate.
Elders have distinguished themselves in donations and war attacks and such. You can make elder pretty easily...co takes a good while longer to obtain and is by no means automatic....I chose by gut feeling who I can make a co or not. They do hold considerable amount of power.
However this being the Internet and all... When I leave the clan for whatever reason...I leader either my mini or my real life friend who is also a clanmate. Can't be too careful :eek:

You could technically make everyone elder/co... but that really defeats the purpose of having a title and makes it less important. Also would be pretty annoying if you have irresponsible people as co. Which means that only those who deserve elder/co should get the title. Although, the criteria for being co should be little more strict since a co-leader should be someone who contributes a lot to the clan, knows how to give good advice, is someone who is reliable and responsible, and someone who can help support and work well with the leader. And you'd find that there are only a few in the clan that actually fit that criteria...
But if numbers are really important... I guess it seems better if the number of co's should definitely be less than half of the clan. Elder should be given to members that follow all the clan rules and also with trust.
i promote anyone to elder just on donation.
co leader? well i need to know them for a loooong time. and need to get on the clan fb page so we can have a chat outside Coc. AND needs to b an adult - no kids - who can b a bit irrational.
Elder: Give it once player start donating and used his both attacks in war.
Co-Leader: Give it to someone who talk a lot and has good reputation in clan, also he understand very well clan rules and war strategy and ofc he must be good attacker.
avoid giving Co-leader to rushed base,,, bad attacker,,, don't talk much and members don't even know him in clan even if he/she your friend,,, make it fair enough for everyone.

If you are asking that question, you might want to redirect your focus. Giving members a title quick can hurt you more in the long run. You get to many personalities with to many opinions and lose direction. The model we use is Elder is given based of clan loyalty: donations, war attacks, war strategy assistance for new clan members, participation in clan forum, etc.... Coleader is only given to someone willing to fill a role and be accountable to the clan. Having to many Co's can negatively affect your direction. just my opinion brother.

There can be unlimited number of elders and co-leaders, meaning from 0 to 49 other elders or co-leaders. But be careful on giving positions. Elders can kick members out. Co-Leaders can kick members and elders out, as well as promote members to elder and co-leader, and can change clan settings. The clan may be destroyed if a bad co-leader kicks out all your members and elders.
