Dueling system and gambling
Once I design a new base, I want to test it against many different styles of raids.
Here comes a great idea both for players and also Supercell (after all we want them to earn money so that they can drink more beer and make the game better right? :) )
Dueling System in exchange for gems + GG aka Gem gambling
In exchange for a small number of gems, (2 sounds reasonable) you are able to invite a friend or a stranger to a duel. You are also able to gamble a certain amount of gems (plus maybe resources) and defend against the attacker. If he can't three star your base you win everything.
In order to stop people from exploiting this system, it gets disabled during clan wars for all the members of the clan and for 2 days after you change a part of your base until the war ends.
