Hmm I didn't mean it to sound like that. My question is, I feel like I need it now because I have lots of resources thanks to the boost. However, I'm not sure if I would need it after the boost. Getting it now would help my current situation though as I have lots of gold and all builders busy.

Well at some point (hopefully) you won't need any of your builders! LOL.

Personally I don't think the 5th is necessary at TH10, apart from when you first upgrade and want to start lab, spell factory, x-bow and inferno.
If you have enough gems and always wanted the 5th, then get it for sure, if not then you have a ton of boost sessions available with those gems

5th builder helps in war... been 99% a few times by a higher opponent by hiding them in the corners. :)

Have had a 5th builder since early and it's helped with doing walls or a targeted upgrade as I can concentrate one builder on that task and rest can be next available.

As you get to maxed defences, you will find that your gold increases almost by default while you are upgrading final troops and heroes, so then you will find yourself able to spend some on walls.

You will never be a "maxed base" without all 5 builders!
So why wait?

I have 5 builders and have 4 on the go almost all the time. 5th does walls. Once you have regular 7 day hero waits plus 14 days for max defences you will want that 5th little geezer
