Doing the same thing with my th9....65k from starting king 30 and I 'll probably keep it as a 9 just for the heck of it. My ten on the other hand really seems to screw up the matchups for the rest of my clan so I tend to keep it out.

OP, your observational skills have resulted in you assuming that your 3 analyses are conclusive of players having one sided and lacking play styles. There are many players that know how to farm raid and to war raid as well as being able to keep up with upgrades.
I'm somewhere between 1 and 2. I'm a kinda rushed TH10 (not crazy rushed, but not max TH9). I'm missing an xbow and air sweeper to help with war matches. The max inferno towers really help me on defense, and I ALMOST always get 2-stars on the opponents #1/#2 in wars (i'm the highest in my clan). It's hard to be only focused on war because it's only 2 attacks every other day. Since there are only a couple attacks for war, I spend a LOT more time out farming.
I'm a warrior then, I hate boosting my barracks to farm and when is done I usually go for what I need and stop.
I am a rusher, war nonstop without both heroes because they are upgrading nonstop.
am I in 3 categories?
Farmer and a warrior. I farm non stop in normal play and my clan is always at war. Go me.
I'm a farmer. I don't do clan wars because they get in the way of farming.
Back reading the comments, the hybrid warmer sounds interesting! How did you guys balanced the heroes/base farming while keep improving in wars? ^^
Considering that war is one of the two reasons I still play this game, I'm definitely a warrior. Im doing lab troops before heroes so I can war more right now.......I'll probably learn to war with 1 hero also. I need to have war to have fun in this game.
LOL. I'm not far from 2B Gold and Elixir, have a maxed base and only a few zap walls to a full max base... last CW I raided our opponent's number 1 and 2 (both maxed bases, lvl 10+), 2* on number 1, 3* on number 2.
Yes, I'm using gobarch full time in multiplayer because it's the most efficient way to farm, but I still can handle gowiwi, gowiwipe, lavaloonions, golaloon and other war strategies.
In both cases (gobarch or war armies) you need to learn how your troops react and be able to funnel your heroes inside the base so they take the TH or a specific storage.
I my experience, the same people who are bad barchers are also bad at war... those are the ones opening all those forum thread about their AQ not behaving the right way instead of learning how to use it the right way ;-)
