Every idea I've seen where a unit slows down or temporarily immobilizes a defense or troop has never gotten any attention, and would get just as much criticism today because of CR's Ice Wizard.
The point of this forum is to bring something NEW to Clash of Clans, meaning you will most likely never see anything from other SC games. Have you ever seen criticism of an idea because it has the same concept? People hate on them.
My idea has been around long before CR's new cards, and it bothers me to see concepts from newer games become a possible replacement in other people's eyes. :(
Overall, my idea is exclusively for Clash of Clans; just because something like the Ice Wizard works well in CR does not mean it could work as well in Clash. I think CR is a very easy game(people just spam cards) and does not take as much time to become good. My point is, we need different concept for similar games. If every troop was in both Clash and CR it would be a bit of an offset. Each game needs to be different from the other, this includes different troops, fundamentals, tactics, etc.
Let me know what else you're thinking.

Really like the artwork for this troop. I think I would like this design in the game in substitution for the musketeer, because to me they basically seem to me like the same thing, except for the splash damage on death or the reduced damage for the defenses that are being fired upon
