Are defenses overpowered?

Instead of suggesting a troop or a spell, I just want to let know that many friends and I that daily play clash, feel like defenses are overpowered! Mostly in TH 9 - 10.

When you start to place those powerful Tesla lvl 7, the X-Bows, the Walls lvl 9-10, you start to feel youself almost impossible to break through any TH 9 maxed out offense by ground. By air, we had our time with the Balloonion and then we had it with Quatro Lavaloonion, a definite 3 star even maxed out TH 10s. That, ended! The only true strategy capable of destroying any TH 10, was soon vanished. Well, that is not bad! Is good, but it became too defense good.

We are forgetting the ground offense, Gowipe and Gowiwi being the best, they are already out of breath to take on a maxed out TH9 or TH 10, in their respective maxed out offenses THs. Offensive ground strategies are as good as dead! It's not like everyone should be able to 3star a base, obviously that will make the game too easy! But now is too hard! The only difference between being able or not to 3 star a maxed out base, should be its clever defense arrangement, which it does take a major part of either you 3star or not! Even though, we all can search for base designs which will probably do the job.

Now with the Dark Spells, they are awesome! To a certain point, it's a good power up! But it is not a miracle saver. I am a current TH9 maxed out offense, and it is extremely hard to 3 star someone maxed out TH9. Everytime I see the troops boost up a level, I'm happy! But you only upgrade them for looting or farming atacks! I will never ever see myself making a 3star with barbs, archs or giants lvl 7, EVER! You are only upgrading troops needed for looting, when you should be upgrading Golems, Pekkas, Witches, Balloons, Wizards, Wall breakers (DEFINATELY), Hog Riders, Minnions, practically every single high tier troop made for WAR! To actually 3star a base.

Please Supercell, concentrate your upgrades on HighTier troops, not low tier for Looting! That is the least we need!

I can 3 star max th9s as an almost maxed th9. It comes down to army composition and how/when/where you deploy them.

While I feel there should be 4 or even 5 stars per base to help seperate out the good attacks from the mediocre attacks, I don't think the troops or defenses are the issue.

It's very important how the base design is made, I can also 3 star TH9 maxed as long as my offensive strategy fits their base design! There are other base designs, how ever, that just go as good as you can go. But your are totally right, there should be something more besides de 3 stars. But how will that fit? Like heroic atack or easy troops hard base defeated? Maybe between TH differences or just as quick as you made it! Maybe something more huh.

bases are too hard I have almost every troop maxed, all the important ones are like golem pekka wiz loons etc and spells. yet when i face a maxed th10 which i am, getting a 60% is a very very solid raid. Every base is anti air now without even trying as long as its not a horrible set up so the only viable strategy is a version of gowipe even then the defending base just destroys it so fast. A maxed th9 is like what a th10 should be with infernos added. th10 is way to overpowered. If you watch raids with lvl 40 heros the whole attack is the heros all the other troops r dead while they do the work and even they dont get 3stars lucky if they get 70%. no longer clash of clans its clash of gowipe and 50% two stars with heros.

When I had th5 I found that with max th5 troops I couldn't beat max th5 defenses, it was too hard!

Its a completely different concept, if the defense don't kill you the time limit will when there are way more structures then you will ever face in lower town halls. And fyi I never found that to be the case as a th5 :P.

Agree i just started a new account and unless you have cc troops its very hard
