when TH is outside, its confirm win, therefore its no risk to try to get the second star by 50%

It's only logical.
Now, if you have no loot and it's say a 1 cup offer....yeah most would rather just snipe your TH and move on. You also get quite a few lowbie snipers as well so it's sometimes nice to get a minimal cup loss/free shield without losing much loot (that is if you aren't a completely maxed 10 anyway).

Bases are stacked with loot in higher leagues (especially Champ/Titan). Granted you pretty much need to be a TH10 to actually hit them, but the league bonus is pretty damn nice up there in addition to all the ridiculous loot.

there's types of people
snipers=> this people hang around with 200 archers for snips only.
pushers=> ll crush u anyway , doesn't matter where is ur TH , if u offer a good trophy offer.
farmers => those ll just snip u. for the league bonus , then they ll search for another ride to take the bonus twice.

it depends on the fact that how much trophy is offered ,if only 1 trophy offer and the th is outside why should I use my whole troops just for nothing, if its something like 4-6(lowest) I would think to go for 50%.. another time I go for 50% on 1 trophy exposed th if the base layout is something that I am not comfortable with and I do need some practice so that when the same base layout pops up with higher trophy offer I don't mess that up .Quote:

Pushers say "Why get loot, it provides no trophies"
If all you care about is loot...why? Because it means you can upgrade? Why do you care about upgrading? So you can max your base and quit the game? What's the end-game? The entire game is built around a supposed competition to have the most trophies, farming is simply a means to an end.

Sometimes I just quit the attack before finishing the town hall. Other times I take what loot I can get and quit just before giving a sheild. It's fun for me.
