Fix the matchmaking

Until SC implements the infamous automatic win button you will need to play the game like everyone else.
I know people these days don't want any competition or resistance in there gameplay and god forbid you engage in any trash talk.

? I am talking about the CHANGE in the game that increased the range for matchmaking. I've been playing for over 2 years, never seen a range of 1000 cups until last update. I have no problem competing. but when you next for 5 hours and find one base above 10 cups and log off and a guy gets 57 cup offer on you, it's not right. My point is they want more people up higher but it isn't going to happen when they make it harder for people to stay there. What's your point?

Actually this is getting more people higher up. It's pulling people from Champs into titans and getting more people closer together.

proof? I don't know because i wasn't at 4000 cups at any time before, but when you next for 5 hours and only find 1 guy above you and most hanging at Champs 3, I don't know. My proof is that I lead a clan of 50. We pushed to #214. We have a lot of 10s a lot of of them maxed. Out of the 5 that made Titan, 2 were 9s. Both as well as 2 other 10s are now dropping. One says he is staying but is being hit for -20 to -30 every time he logs off. Everyone complained about nexting for an hour to find a base worth over 6 cups. Maybe in a year Titan will be like Champs, but I don't see the point. Champs offered a gem achievement. Titans doesn't. Why would you push above that and endure all that for very little return. We did it because we had a goal of reaching the top 200. None of us were above M2 before we started. Everyone is glad it is over and no one sees the need to push above champs 3 any time soon.

The probability of those TH9s in Master finding your TH9 base is much higher than them finding a TH10 in Titan. Just because it's possible for TH10s to be hit by players much lower than them doesn't negate the fact that TH9s are more likely to be hit by them.

I think the matchmaking as it now stands allows for up to 1 TH level difference with pretty much equal propability as the same level.

You will very occasionally get 2 TH levels difference, but that is rare.

There is definitely a bias towards your own town hall. When they first implemented the TH matching and it only applied up to 3200 (I believe that may have changed?), then crossing 3200 as a TH9 made a dramatic difference. Below 3200 you saw plenty of TH9, above 3200 none - because of the bias towards own TH and against the many other targets just 1 TH different.

I don't really care about the TH levels. I ll hit a max TH10 for a star, but Im not going to do so when he is only offering 1 cup. 99% of what I get offered is that. TH10s at 3200-3300 cups offering 1 cup. No thanks. I understand that is the nature of the beast in climbing to Titan and it took a long time at that pace. The whole point of this thread is that SC made these changes to try and entice people higher so the competition level at around 3800 and above had less clouds and more bases available. My point is that I doubt this will work when the lower range is set so huge and the cups so punitive that it becomes a fool's errand. Oh and Ive been hit by several TH7s as well. Plenty of our TH10s were hit by guys way below them as well (TH9-TH7). Its not about the TH level. If I ever saw a TH10 in Titans offering 50+ cups I would have gone for it as well. Risk/Reward is very low for the lower cupped bases and too punitive for the guys ranked higher.

It's garbage. I spent 4 hours of instant finishing armies (save your gemer talk). I earned 32 trophies in this time!! I signed off and was a 45 trophy offer!! Simply pitiful. Lost 30 trophies in a single attack. I'm at 3900 trophies. My last push to 4500 trophies was before the league implementation. It was much easier then than it is now.
