The spell takes away the point of having defending clan troops there's only a handful of troops strong enough to survive it, and that's providing they only use one and the ones that can survive it are too expensive or no good at taking out multiple enemies
Dragons and loons can survive it. They are both decent
Balloons are no good against air attacks and you can't expect your clan mates to keep training dragons for you they take to long, are expensive and unless your at war no one will have any readily trainedQuote:

I don't find calling someone a ignorant fool to be toxic just the truth he has foolishly assumed that I have a poor layout which is ignorant but fair enough I appolagise if offence was taken. And as I stated earlier it's ok to ask for them as defence in war but for every day defending there too expensive and take to long to make. Instead I have redesigned my base so that you can't easily lore out the cc troops and I shall see how that goesQuote:

TH8 can't use haste spells, and earthquake is nearly useless in comparison. There's no reason to train earthquake for farming. It's not a waste of a spell, because there is no alternative until TH9. Even then, haste is just a half rage spell.
Not only is dragon the only viable option against poison, but it's still vastly inferior to a pair of witches or a handfull of wizards. Even 25 archers are better than a dragon without poison.
The community is constantly going on about playing the game to the style that suits you, but SC took away all options on this.
You cannot make your cc unlurable below level 10. A hog rider can run in and pull them out regardless of build.it might even take a few of them, but thats a small sacrifice.
Before you had to burn a couple hogs and then waste some tier 1 troops to eliminate cc. It made it a challenge to try and waste as few troops as possible. Now its just a simple matter of burning a spell slot you weren't using for anything else anyways. The lightning spell was already good for this, but it was a much bigger sacrifice.
Poison definitely needs a nerf. Hasted unraged giants arent a problem, 24% damage to a huge section of walls isn't a problem. Forcing us to use a dragon in cc? Thats a problem.
i dont see a problem with the poison spell. Its just like saying "oh lightning spells are OP because they damage multiple places with a bunch of damage" its how its supposed to be. Plus it would only matter if your clanmates gave you weak troops. the poison spell doesnt even do that much damage. any troop could be donated. they dont care how long or how much a troop cost, they will give it to you even if you wait. so this is just dumb if you think about it. also wrong sub forum.
The poison spell is definitely not too op. It literally does nothing to dragons and high HP troops. Even if you think it's too op, a decrease in its power would still destroy all the barbarians and archers. Sounds like some people are just a little angry that their cheap troops were taken out too quickly. If anything the poison spell should be stronger so it at least damages dragons more severely.
Well, I find donating dragons easy in my clan, we just have a dragon cooking in one barrack every nighttime wherever you live and if it is not needed we cancel it before barching.
many ways around this..
1. base design
2. large variety of troops so they dont cluster easily
3. large amounts of troops so they dont come out at the same time
4. use strong troops that dont die in 1 poison spell
Work with your clan to develop a strategy that works best for you
