The cost to get a dark barracks is 750,000 elixir. to get hogriders its 1,500,000 elixir. to get valkries, it is 3,000,000 elixir. Since all of those doubles, golems must be 6,000,000 elixir. if they keep on doubling, the next troop will cost 12,000,000 elixir. the max elixir u can hold is 8,000,000, for TH 9+10 only. In order to have ten dark troops, it would cost over one hundred million elixir to get it. THEY WILL NEED TO LOWER THE COST OF UPGRADES! What do you think?

Obviously, that's not going to happen. Either Supercell decided no more dark troops or they add another (upgrade for the) storage. It is most likely the upgrade since there is definitely going to be a level 3 inferno tower, and another upgrade after level 6 archers... One upgrade for a storage doubles its' capacity. This means the max will be 16,001,000. And come on. Over 100 million elixir??? I'm sorry, but that's just impossible to even think of as a possibility. It doesn't always double, sometimes it doesn't (Lvl.7 walls cost 200,000 gold apiece, while Lvl.8 walls cost 500,000 gold apiece). And they probably will lower the upgrades, unless they planned on the prices and ho they are going to increase elixir storage capacity.
Yeah costs are way out of hand, i think this is just poor planning on supercells part. De should be eliminated, storages should be quadrupled in capacity, and anything that costs De should switch to 1000X elixier.
imho, i think its way better to pay 10 mil for say the queen than an artificially rare resource like de.
That's assuming all new DE troops will be stronger and stronger. There probably won't be anything more defensively stronger than the Golem... however something stronger in attack will probably be released and probably be the same cost.
I think we need more troops that have target preferences. De versions of wallbreakers, giants and definitely gobs also fill a need.Quote:

Did you even check to see if it actually costed 6 mil? Because dark barracks level 4 costs 4 mil, which is not too high if you ask me. Also, for all the people complaining about dark elixir, it's actually very plentiful at higher trophy counts. Not unreasonable at all.
I wasn't aware that level 4 dark barracks costed 4 mill, and it is a good thought that they might not be better than the golem. But what if they do add a higher level dark troop? two? Three? Will they lower the cost, or add more storages/maka a new level?
Well, of all, lvl 7 walls to lvl 8 walls is a terrible example. that's MORE THAN DOUBLED. And 100 million elixir was assuming they kept doubling, or going up b 150%Quote:

Most of it was by proper raiding too, only really did a couple of lightning drops when I was 1-3K away to speed up the last bit.
As said above the Dark Barracks cost 4ml elixir which leaves the probable costs of the next Dark barracks being 5m, 6m, 7m, 8m and more if the storage cap gets increased so look forward to those costs if you think 4mil is expensive.
Does 200,000 double to 500,000? No, it does do more than double, but it doesn't double. It doesn't really matter, since my point was that upgrades don't always double, sometimes they go up by less than double or more than double.Quote:

^True. Especially at th8 but surprisingly also at th9, I find will not wanting in Elixir.
