I'm at my first week of th7 and I really want to get my Barbarian King. I was wondering if there was a good farming strategy to use for getting dark elixir that takes little time but is effective. Also what trophy range should I be in. Amy input is helpful. Thanks

I find it odd that a townhall 9 with poor farming stats is giving others farming advice. Idk

Your question, along with any additional information you would like to provide: I'm currently farming DE for my barb king (works like a charm with balloonion). After this, I want to max my walls (a few lv7 and all others lv6). My question is which league will be the best? I'm considering either Silver 1/Gold 3, Gold 2 or around 1000 trophies.

I did it this way:
Stayed around 1000 trophies
Used Barch for collector raids to get BK lv1
Pushed to Crystal League (2000 trophies)
I've been sniping and using balloonion here for a week, and my BK is now lv3, and I need just 3000 more to get him to level 4.

Finally got my Barb King.. Best way to get to Crystal League?

When looking for a match for looting, it seems that I am always matched with the same group of villages - is there a way around that?

Gold 2 and Gold 1 are the best. Where you're at, in my experience over the last week, is the best place to farm G/E for TH9. If you need DE, go to masters with a Giant-based or Loonion-based army.



Lavas are Gold and Elixir, and I'm farming 10-20 legos a day in the Gold 2/Gold 1 area. Gold 1 is better I believe. You'll be finding a good amount of collector raids (sometimes it feels like I'm a TH8 again. That's how good it is sometimes :)). If you have a giant-based army that can hit hard, you can take out some rich TH8s for some more loot. Have fun farming those lavas!

Unfortunately the best way (and most boring) is to just snipe exposed townhalls.
