Healers maxed (it was what I could afford at the time). The rest are still th8 max, including dark troops. BK 10, AQ going to 5 (22 hrs and counting down, lol). DE is low because of AQ, and Elix is almost maxed due to boost (yeehaw) so balloons will go up before another dark troop. Rage spell maxed, heal and lightning at 5. New jump, level 1 poison and eq.
At at the moment I check in game off and on most days, with some periods of hours long play (and chat) here and there during the day, especially in wars. Long story. But I play a lot. And talk a lot... a clanmate friend who plays about as much as me attacks twice as often, lol. But that's what I like to do.
While gem boost is on, I am going full attacks with hogs and the odd practice gowipe.
My "cheap" raiding army is: 6 giants, 6 wb if needed, 44 archers, rest evenly divided between barbs and gobs. I look for collector raids and use giants, one or two here and there to distract, place barbs, then archers, then gobs in I guess what some call a "surgical" fashion, at each collector.
Usually works, but sometimes get tired of nexting, wastes time and gold.
Is is there a happy medium between basically surrounding a base's collectors with a dressed-up gobarch, and a full-on war/trophy attack to get to storages/etc. Esp. When facing central heroes and xbows?
Any tips for troop loadouts, easy base layouts to look for to get to storages or walled mines/collectors? I never did learn a solid giant/healer/archer or wizard strategy in th6-7. I've seen it a million times but it doesn't transfer from my eyes to my hands. . And most of my th10 clanmates are in silver 1-2. I kind of like gold, for some reason, but Idk. When I get to 1500 I start doing war attacks and/or snipes to go back up. When I get too high, I look for collector raids to "lose".
