Maxed th8.5. Move to th10 or build xbows?

Maxed th8.5. Move to th10 or build xbows?

Hey everybody. I am a max th8.5. A little about my base- My defences are just like a th8 so i never built new xbow,archer tower,tesla, etc. I have all lava walls. I have level 30 archer queen and level 30 barb king. All my troops and spells are maxed for th9. All of my offensive buildings are also maxed for th9. So I guess my question for all you is could i move to th10 and continue this strategy. So keep my defences how they are and max my heros, get all zaps, and max my troops and spells, get my army camps to 240 storage and CC to max. Would it be considered a new type of th8.5/th9.5 and give me an even better advantage in war than when i was th8.5? Or will i just be a rushed th10 with nice walls and high heros? If anybody has ever tried this it would be awesome if you could give me some insight. Thanks

Update: I have decided to upgrade my townhall. But I am also going to buy a new AD and a new Tesla. I'll then upgrade all my AD and teslas to max, but leave my other defences as they are until i have max troops.

Do you war? If you do and your current plan isn't affecting wars, I'd say go for it.. I would probably get at least the 4th Tesla and 4th Air Defense built though. Max out that offense, and the rest will follow. Great job so far :) If your comfortable going to TH10, you can handle it (obviously)..

Along with getting new tesla and new AD, do you think i should upgrade all my AD to max, and also my teslas?

Here's a trick I use. Look at your recommended target at the very start of Battle Day (before anyone attacks). Check it's war weight. I consider that how strong SuperCell judges your offense.

Now check your war weight. I consider that how strong SuperCell judges your defense.

It stands to reason, that the base you "pull" is rated somewhere between those two extremes. Take a weighted average based on your estimation of how SuperCell balances offense versus defense in their matchmaking (I have no clue, so I'm not posting guesses). As you build defenses or offenses those evaluations will increase.

If you're really worried about pulling a TH10, then I'd advise you to go all offense to whatever level you desire first, and then checking what your recommended base is and seeing if your estimate of your matchmaking cost has room for defenses also.

It's better to try and max your town hall so it is easier to play later ingame.

You've put yourself in a position where you might have to go to TH10 in order to have anything to spend elixir on.

Yes it would continue to expand on your advantage, though it isn't new.

I would upgrade to 10 but it's about personal preference.

Should i also max out both air sweepers? atm i have only 1 air sweeper

Great another soon to be complainer about walls having to much weight and it screwed up his attempt to game the war system..:facepalm:

go to th10! imo you should build any new defences, you are going to get 3* no matter what so you might as well keep that weight as low as possible
