TH6 has to work/grind very hard to be in Crystal II, and I very rarely see them. I see maybe 70% TH9, 20% 8 or 10, maybe 1 in 20 at TH7. In fact, I cannot remember seeing TH6. Maybe I pass them so quickly due to their lack of loot?

They are earning "it". By town hall sniping. You just don't appreciate how long it takes to town hall snipe to crystal....not that I'm a town hall sniper, but I would know.
Honestly man, the reason you set a th outside of your base is so people will destroy it and you can get the shield.... I'll never understand the trapping a th unless it's for fun or to troll. Once you hit crystal th sniping gets hard.. Once you hit masters.. You might as well forget about it..( with the exception of the rare farming base) so yea the th snipers are speeded ALOT gold to th snipe up to champs or masters
Back when, we were dissappointed to see that there was no archers on the top of a town hall 8 base, since there is room up there for them there, why wouldn't the little villagers want someone on top of the town hall fighting them off as the soldiers often do at last line of defense? I think it would add style points and maybe a little PC to the game, why is every villager taking off into the town hall anyway if there is not some sweet archer marksmen planting their sights on the oncoming army chilling from the top of their alleged sanctuary there?

no, hog raids would be even easier with town hall targeted as a defense
If you want to protect your hall, protect it.
You can't force others to do the same.
Sure some low halls might get into Crystal etc. But the higher you go the harder it is for the hall snipers to survive.
And a bigger problem is it will make genuine trophy pushing and wars even harder. I wouldn't want to upset that balance just because of a bunch of hall snipers.
Believe it or not, they actually already have this. There are these things called walls. To get them, click on "shop" in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, then click "defenses", then the third item is a wall. Putting several layers of walls around the town hall prevents people from sniping it. You can also upgrade these things called walls so that they have more health and take longer to destroy. TRUE..you want to protect it as the saying goes to the description of the town hall itself, PUT it at the center of your village.
For the thread starter..YO!!! take a hike and read the description. If and if you hardly understand that description, then forget about your intentions. Put it in the center so that you are far AWAY from TH sniping, but be ready for an all out raid on your village if you have too many resources been kept for a long long time and no activity to get it in USE..hahaha

Let them be in Crystal 2, they had to wait just to push, if you trap your TH, why are you farming? What's the point of preventing a player from giving a free shield to protect resources of you're going to trap it? Isn't the point of farming just to have your TH sniped to protect your resources so that you can be free?Quote:

Anyways, unless your base is setup with the town hall on the outside, you shouldn't really have to worry. They have already made several protections against destroying the townhall, including walls, cannons,archer towers, wiz towers, hidden teslas, traps, air defenses, and more as you progress through the game. Make sure you purchase all these defensive items, upgrade them max before you upgrade your townhall, and organize your village so that they are effectively protecting your town hall. Good luck!

Last night till Midnight, I pushed my WAY to get the DARK ELIXIR on upgrading my BARBARIAN KING to LVL4 ( target is LVL5 to get his ability working), We all Know how difficult to get into the core of the village to LOOT those dark elixir, If you'll just relying on BARCHERS, FORGET ABOUT IT!! So I have to use my HIGHLY cost and more efficient troops to attack but the time and waiting for them to be trained in a 200pax will give me wasted time intervals for cycle attack.
I Boosted two of my barracks for troops that has long time to be trained, boosted my SPELL factory for those spells needed to enter the core, and boosted the healing time of my KING!!
Spent 40 gems in total for boost, A hundred thousands of PINK elixir for my troops and spells, and tons of patience of finding bases with proper amount of DE on TH8-TH9 bases...(TH10 is a suicidal attack for by the way i am on a TH7 95% fully max army, village, and defenses)
Started with a 5,000+ dark elixir (17500 dark elixir is needed for LVL 4 upgrade)..I got what I need from them and the LEVELING up commences..BUT THEN
During those attacks ,GOLD COINS and PINK ELIXIR also was generated and added to my counter. SO IN SHORT, I have to protect THEM too not by RELYING to my DEFENSIVE STATS but with.....
FREE SHIELD (If defenses alone can withstand the power of your AGGRESSOR, then I wouldn't have got those elixir in the first place..)
I get my Town hall outside unprotected and after 15 minutes..
GOT my SHIELD for the remainder of the morning till sunset..(sleeping hours)..That if I just LOG OUT and goes OFFLINE..I will still GET my SHIELD in MAX for i am sure also those other resources are gone to WASTE...:thumbsup:
This is the BEAUTY of TH SNIPING...IF you REALLY know how to use it.
If you really hate people TH sniping you, simply put your TH inside your walls... Noobs...
The whole point of letting someone snipe you is for them to use as little troops as posible and walk away.
If you need to bring more troops they might as well go full raid on you.
