Master's No Longer Best for DE Farming

With the matchmaking change to increase your chances of finding someone the same town hall level as you, it is now easier for TH9's and 10's to find other 9's and 10's, despite their trophy range.

For this reason, I recommend avoiding Master's League. The old narrative was 'the higher your trophies, the more DE you will find'. While that might still be true, Crystal and even Gold leagues can be just as good for DE since the matchmaking update. Bases are, on average, weaker and therefore easier to penetrate for DE.

Thoughts? Where have you been successful farming? What are you using for DE farming?

I agree im a th9 with lvl 30 queen n king 7 days from 30 and i farmed them in crystal 3/c2, bases were easy enough to get w. O heroes as í kept mine constantly upgrading, I still have about 43 lavas left so I was able to finish heroes before walls with bam + Giants or bamGi for short I think Farming in lower league also helps because it's super easy to remain in the league so you don't have to always star the base if it would waste a lot of troops or if you Have your heroes and they start getting hurt.

The only reason Masters is better for DE farming is the loot bonus, so you always win extra loot and DE. Other than that, there really is no point unless you want to get three starred by a TH10.

I've been farming in master for a year. Crystal doesn't have the quantity of DE available in master.

Sure, you can make 100 attacks in Crystal and get the same amount as I do with 20-30 in master.

For hardcore farmer, it's not a problem (with bam or barch). But for casual farmer like me, I prefer to attack once for 3k than doing 3-4 attacks to get the same result.

It's just a different style of farming.

Chose the league that best suits your attack style.

I also disagree.

I've been hovering between M2 and M1. Sure, searching takes a bit longer to find a nice base, but the in between snipes pay it off. Both heroes are upgrading and my lab is doing de research, and I have an almost full DE storage.

My defense log is all snipes as well.

Then again it depends on your attacking style. If you can stay online and barch, sure silver/gold works. But I can get 3k DE + bonus in every raid while almost never losing any myself.

I disagree as well. In Crystal it took me 6 to 7 days to fill my de storage in masters it was 3 to 5 to fill. This was without changing my style or amounts of raids.

Crystal 2/3 is where I've been farming for months. I'm only up in Master 2 trying to see if I can push into Champs but it's difficult only playing casually.

But Crystal I think has the best balance, especially for those wanting DE.

I maxed legos with ease there.

In Masters, you'll get more elixir & gold from loot bonus. Crystal leagues have lot more weak and dead bases.

I don't see any difference farming DE between crystal and master leagues, I am able to keep both my heroes upgrading nonstop (e.g around 150k DE in 4 days) while farming in crystal or master leagues.
