I cant take it anymore...

STOP THE BARCH MADNESS!!

I am constantly attacked by people using all archers or barch and I cant take it anymore.

No i am not losing any trophies or large amounts of loot but it is so annoying. I am currently trophy pushing after I was farming for a bit and I cant participate in wars because my clan says I have to get my buildings and army upgraded to a certain point first since im a new th8. So in clash my main focus is defense and is one of the most fun things for me in clash, but I cannot enjoy this feature anymore because of barch! My defensive layout is very good and I want to test it out but for the 2 weeks I've been a th8 (this happened at th 7 too but I was in wars so i didnt care) I have only been attacked head on maybe twice. Every single other attack has been with barbs and archers and I am sick of it! Every time I get rid of my shield some th6 7 or 8 attacks me with that strategy, they lose, and get about 10k loot each from my nearly empty collectors, and they give me a free shield. Every time I look at my defense log I just see a row of these same stats over and over. Sometimes I get rid of my shield just hoping I would get attacked by a real attacker. Does anyone have this problem? How can I fix this im currently at gold2. Please help? Supercell please fix this if possible!

Ps. I dont think this strategy is OP its just really annoying that I cant defend against real attack. I constantly win because of these barrage of barch attacks and I almost never lose any loot. My last REAL defense was about last week when someone used pekkas and wizards and that was about 15-20 defenses ago.

I hardly get attacked anymore after I maxed my base out. The Barch I see is when people try to take my trapped TH.

push more or use a troll base to boost your trophies

If you don't want to be barched, which is a very efficient farming strategy, you better push up some trophies the lower you are in leagues the more likely you will be barched. I suggest using a troll base designed to fool people into attacking to gain trophies and around gold 1+ you will see people use better strategies to go for you but only if your base is worth attacking with a strong army.

Im not moaning about nothing unlike some people like you apparently I like having fun in the game rather than being a clash slave and upgrade things because you have to. Defenses are one of my favorite parts of the game and I hate that barch strategies are taking away my fun :(.

Wouldn't you rather this than constantly being steamrolled by stronger armies?

You said you are pushing so surely all these defensive wins are great as your getting more trophies? And because you're not losing much loot each attack you're able to save quicker to do your new defences?

Either way, barch won't die, it's cost and time efficient which is what farming is all about.

All I can suggest is to upgrade your DE collector then fill it and don't spend it, if you're a 2k+ DE offering you'll attract allll kindz of beastly armies out for ya loot!

True I like getting the extra trophies but clash is getting a bit stale for me since i cant be in war atm and my favorite feature of the game is being wasted so some people can fail at taking 50k available loot from my base.

Lol im not mad about them not taking my loot im actually glad its just me favorite feature of the game is being wasted so people can fail against attacking my base. Plus I've noticed it was even worse at th7 its just I was able to be in wars with my maxed th7 base and i had plenty of chances to defend in war then.

Where did I say I believe this then? You seem to be a bit desperate and putting 'words in my mouth'

If you want stronger attacks then, push up as said to a higher trophy count and put collectors, especially de drill inside your base, let them fill up and you'll get attacked deeper in the base. It's a bit of a strange thread to be fair though. Good luck.

Well i kept saying clash isnt fun without worthy defenses and your saying stop complaining your getting free trophies and no one is taking your loot which is stuff I'm not too concerned about atm.

Your problem is only having 50k available loot. You said you get attack by th 6-8 and you are only offering 50k??? No one with a good army is going to waste it on your base if that is all the loot you have to offer, max your storage's/collectors and you will be attack by stronger army's at any trophy level. You can't expect someone to train a army that costs 50-100k in elixir and then use it to attack your base that only offers 50k in return.

I'm a new TH8 too and last 2 attacks I recieved are mass level 3 dragons and level 6 GiBarch with a level 15 queen by a level 115 player

I'd like people to only barch my base honestly

I feel your pain ( in all seriousness). Barch is dead against any decent base. The last few upgrades have weakened it to where it only works efficiently on rushed bases. Unfortunately, there are enough brainless rushers who make Barch live on. I'm also tired of losing 20,000 loot....and costing 70,000 gold to reset traps.

What may be a solution? Have Revenge attacks more available. I'd love to take out a Barch attacker...but the base is always shielded so Revenge is useless.

It's replaced zapping for DE as the low point of CoC play.

Barch will never EVER die, unless they come out with a new troop that's quicker to train and gets loot better. It is a time efficient strategy that is cheap and quick, and other than maxed th10s in titan, loot is all people care about. Its how you progress. So cheap, effective armies like barch with always be popular.

People have told you how to get attacked by stronger army comps. Push trophies, have more loot in your storages. But you've had an excuse for each solution. You are complaining about an issue that you can change if you do something but you don't want to do that something. That's your own fault.

If anything go to war. That's the best way to test your base's strength. War is to test your base strength, regular matchmaking is to get and protect loot. That's how its been and how it always will be.

As much as you want to deny it, I guarantee that you would rage and quit if you got attacked by nothing but the strongest army comps. You wouldn't be able to accumulate loot, thus not being able to progress in the game. You'd wish there were more barches at that point.

Not sure how defense is fun. We don't control it or do anything. Also SC can't just stop BARCH. Nobody can. Barch is efficient, so it is used. Oh, a barching we will go :smirk:

The big problem I see is that you aren't offering enough loot for you to see a real army. You need to climb up to masters where people are going to want to attack you for the trophies. Once you are there you will see some real armies and still some barching. At least then you can test out your defenses. The lower you are in trophies the more likely you will not face a real army.

What exactly is the point of this thread...? Barch is in no way overpowered - it is a viable farming method that trains quickly and is inexpensive. Supercell already increased the cost of barbarians and archers, and increased building's health in the last upgrade, which nerfed Barch. Barch isn't particularly strong either, so stop your whining about others trying to farm.

50-100k? Cheap army. My base army is 148k, tossing a spell or two if needed and I'm pushing 200 k. Playing Crystal 2 and Crystal 1, I'm nexting anything less than 200 k elixir ( unless there's a huge amount of gold or DE to make up for the loss of elixir )

If your getting trophies from these ppl, you should reach a point where ppl will start using better comps... also, putting your town hall inside does a lot... Im a brand new th 10 from maxed th 9, and when my th is inside, i get hit with gowipes a lot... just move up, get some loot

I love barching when I need to farm lix, ie, right now as a new th10. It's cheap, easy and fun! SC already hurt barchers. It costs more, ATs shoot faster and 4th mortar.

So what can you do to stop barching? Play longer, save harder and spend that loot!

I really don't get the problem here

getting attacked is part of the game
you're not losing a large amount of loot
you're not losing a large amount of trophies (in fact, you win most of them?)

I would suggest if this situation is causing you to decry SC and ask them to 'fix the game' that you are in for a whole world of pain at later town halls. My suggestion is to put the game down and walk away while you still can.

Move up to Masters. There are plenty of th9 Gowipe armies running around up there that I'm sure would be more than happy to test your base. Push to high M1 and there will be plenty of lvl6 Loon based armies.

Unfortunately barching is part of the game. I get gibarched all the time at th10. Almost none of them get more then 30% damage but its besides the point. Its how alot of people like playing. I prefer gowipe personally.

You get free trophies, defence wins which go towards your profile and you only lose 10K? What is your problem!? :confused:

You should be HAPPY you don't get attacked by full armies that will steal all of your loot.

To fix your problem, go somewhere which isn't 400 trophies where the players only have barbs and archers in their barracks :)
