Does anybody know if LV5 Dragons are worth upgrading? I know at the end all upgrades should be completed but I guess my questions is. How important is upgrading the Dragon to LV5? Where would you prioritize the Dragon for a new TH10?

If you want to attack a TH9 it might be worth it.
The only thing level 5 dragons are good for, is to donate to lower level cc's. At th10, they will collect dust for you. If they had level 8 dragons, then they might be worth using lol.
I've got lv 5 Dragons.
For war donations, if your clan doesn't have the automatic troop level up it's certainly worth having a few players in clan with them. With Poison in the game they are a decent defensive troop.
Offensively though, I've tried them and far from convinced. I'll stick with my GoWiPe or LaLoon style combinations.

They make your profile gold... Beyond that they are worthless.
Unless you need to donate them to war CCs of lower TH's I would rank them last of all troops to be upgraded at TH10. Even goblins have way more usefulness.
We we had a couple guys try and use them to build any semblance of a decent raid on TH9's and TH10's. Verdict was they suck pretty much as bad as level 4's do. Still to slow and get slaughtered after being painstakingly funneled into a hot core.
They need more HP's, more speed and more damage output to stand a chance even in a mixed raid.
Totally agree. If you have the perk for UG troops in war castles don't waste your pink unless you want an all gold profile. One of my (richer) TH10's mates in clan gemmed them on the day they arrived to try them in wars and they were no better at TH10 than lv4.
She got 38% with Skulloons in CC and maxed rages and freeze. We only use em for war castles so Lv4 would have been fine.
We only use them for cc donations
Don't have them... my drags are lvl4 and my clan is lvl 5, so not needed for donating max drags to cc.Quote:

Thanks for the input. I'm currently upgrading my dragons to LV4 as a TH9 and just wanted to know if it was worth upgrading to LV5 once I went to TH10. But with everything said, Dragons are at the very bottom of my list now with all that has been said. I don't ever use Goblins but I will definitely max my Goblins before I do the Dragons ;)Quote:

Lv5 dragon's LavaDragLoon is a 2 guarantee stars vs TH10.
pretty useless.
i'd say pass on them, not worth the effort and elixir.
