War Stars vs. War Loot

Another problem with rejecting people based on lower war loot in relation to war stars is the fact that if you warred a lot at lower town halls but less at higher, then you will have a much lower war loot than someone who started warring at say TH9 only. I have been warring since I was TH6, so naturally myy war loot was pretty low. After 6 months of TH9-10 wars and lots of wins though, it now looks respectable.

Basically, in my opinion, only lowe war stars are really meaningful, because they tell you straghtaway that this person isn't experienced in war. All other figures - high war stars, low or high war loot - can be misleading, and I wouldn't accept or reject someone on the basis of that.

I think war stars and war loot should only be a minor barometer. Basically hey this guy has 600 war stars we know they are going to attack in war. The reason I say this is because you can find a guy with 400 war stars that has been the shining star of a terrible clan and generally gets loser's loot. On the flip side you can get a guy with 400 war stars that just beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of townhall 4's as a townhall 10 for the war stars. Both will have crappy loot amounts but one might be a great addition to your clan. On the flip side having a high amount of war loot received may indicate someone who attacks above where they should for one star while chasing phat lootz. Or it could be a solid number 1 attacker for another clan who had some failed attacks due to always having to match the other clans top bases. This second player could have developed into a legit attacker while the first you wouldn't want in your clan. Basically you got to test people out and be prepared to boot a few every war for sucking.

You can't draw any conclusions from war stats because it is so varied. You just have to see people army tack otherwise you'll never really know.

It's a hard one to judge, of war stars counted all stars acquired rather than the stars that are contributed to the war, I like to run clean up, and usually gain 4 stars a war, but 2 count, while having over 50Mil to 240 stars. I also only had about 50 stars when perks where released, maybe even less, war was pretty pointless prior to this point.

Its a hard one to judge, I'm sure that also why many clans ask to see a decent attack in their clan bio, Especially war clans

Don't judge a book by its cover. Some people might be really good attackers, but they could have only participated in a few wars therefore having less stars. Their clan might ALWAYS lose and so they get hardly any loot. Or they might just keep their loot in their CC and it gets stolen before they collect it. There's plenty of reasons not to trust the statistics so just accept players and judge their attacking skills for yourself :)

I don't even think that part is right. If you have a good war clan where players can get 2-3 stars out of any attack at their own level and where lower level players are required to attack earlier, an upper level player may get 6 stars out of every single war and only have 2 of them add to the statistics.

I was wondering this too at one point, so I tested it. I attacked a base that had already been 1 starred by someone else. Before the attack I had 419 stars to the achievement. I three starred it. After the attack I had 422 stars for the achievement. So it not just new stars earned. The exception is if you don't earn any new stars at all by say 2 starring a base that's already 2 starred. Then you get no stars for the achievement.

You have to take into account that even with good war stars, a clan may still lose a war so regardless of the amount of war stars, you may have little war loot..

Furthermore, it isn't really possible to get a correlation on this..
