Depends if the boost is 1 gem per day or 1 gem for the whole period (usually 1 week). I remember last time when it was for the full period, some people have been boosting all collectors and then forgetting about it, so you could easily find some fully loaded boosted collector bases ;-)

I want the barracks one gem boost event.

By next week we will be having a big day for CoC player's. The game has passed 3 years successfully.
So there will be many compliments like GEM BOOST, LESS TROOPS TRAINING TIME, etc.

For the past week we have been having shortage of LOOT RAIDS, I think SC is saving them up for the upcoming day. Im awaiting for it :cool: are u?

i timed getting to champs league perfectly. Gems to burn.

My experience of the last time we had a 1 gem boost (which was all the normal boost periods, but for 1 gem rather than 10) was that many people did boost collectors, and that loot fell dramatically for the first few hours of the week, then rose just as dramatically to much higher levels than normal for the rest of the week.

Presumably the first few hors were a mad rush of boosted barracks with not many people who had boosted being offline, after taht most peopl who had boosted collectoprs would have been offline for probably 16-20 hours per day, so loot in collectors bilt up.

On another note, what league do you guys will be best to farm in as a maxed(without heroes and walls) th10 if collectors can be boosted by 1 gem. I just dropped down from champs to M2-3. Will gold leagues be more beneficial during updates like these?
