Th8s offering 1-2 cups in masters-II? Or has it been like this ever since?

I think I'm seeing a trend here. Rushed players have found a way to move up easily to masters. So many rushed bases here with gold and pink walls with low cup offerings. Low cup offerings means less likely you will get attacked.

What I mean is if you're only being offered 1-2 cups for these TH8s and you're in M2, those TH8s obviously aren't in Master.

And like zachUVA said, they're only offering low cups to you. Most of the people that see them in searches are probably much lower than you and see higher cup offers for them.

Any townhall 8 in masters or above will immediately get murdered by someone. That's why it seems like they offer low cups. Many townhall 9's and 10's will pass on those bases in crystal because crystal is a majority farming league. That's how you manage to find some for low cups.

So why does my searches find Th8s, in masters, with 1-2 cups being offered? Shouldn't TH8s offer the same cups as a TH9 or 10 since we're both in masters?

Take a look at their bases, do you see pink and purple walls? If so, then we're screwed because I see a pattern when it comes to low lvl walls that coincide with low cup offers. The higher the wall lvl the better cup offers. IDK.

You've got it wrong, mate. The thing is, there are th8s in both Masters and Crystal. But generally, when you're in Masters, no one hits the random th8s from Crystal that show up in the matchmaking, because they're only worth 1-2 cups. Such bases accumulate, which is why it starts to look like every th8 base is worth low cups.

Meanwhile the th8s already in Masters? They're worth a lot of cups, usually, so they get hit instantly. When they get hit, they get a shield, and hence a th8 from Masters won't appear in your matchmaking, since they're all already destroyed!

Even if you're in Masters 2, th8s from Masters 3 shouldn't offer more than 7-8 cups.

And lastly, bases will only offer 20+ cups if they are at your trophy level (roughly), or higher. So if you find a th8 in Masters 1, you can probably three star him for 30+ cups, :cool:

I'm a TH8 in master 3 (well was). I have not attacked in 12 days. During that time Iost like 200 trophies. I get TH sniped for -1 trophy a lot.

I hope you know that base strength has nothing to do with cup offering, it totally depend on the yours and their trophy difference. Most TH 8s will reach till Crystal but some are as high as champs. I have found some 40+ cup TH 8s while I was in MI but as everyone said, that will be quite rare.

From what I have read of your posts you are making an assumption that the TH level and how advanced they are in that TH level makes a difference in the number of cups that they offer which is not true.

The only thing that determines how many cups they offer are the number of cups that they have compared to the number of cups that you have. If you have less cups than them then they will give you lots of cups and if you have more than them then they will offer fewer cups.

Under the new match making system then you, for the most part, will only be matched with TH levels +/-1 of your own TH level but because of this then the search radius has also increased to instead of finding players close to your cup level then it has to search further afield.
