The 'most hated thing' would be the so called troops' AI ("artificial idiots")
What does it tell you that when raiding a base, instead of attacking, the main purpose of this game is to prevent the troops from going full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ so as a side effect, you get loot/stars?

Agreed. I only see a few troops with no AI issues:
Goblin
Giant
Healer
Minion
Lava Hound
Golem
Everything else has problems (Listed below):
Barbarian- Runs around the base
Archer- Runs around the base
Wall Breaker- Targets shallowest wall section on southern teaser-style bases instead of the large group. When they target the shallow wall layers, they get shot down too easily.
Balloon- Bunch up too easily.
Wizard- Attack glitch.
Dragon- Attack glitch and runs around the base.
Pekka- Runs around the base
Hog Rider- Incorrectly sized groups. There is one group of 8-10 hogs and then groups of 2-3 on other defensive buildings. They should be in groups of 5-7 reasonably speaking.
Valkyrie- Runs around the base
Witch- Gets too close to defensive towers instead of letting skeletons be tanks. Always shot down by splash/archer tower/xbow/tesla too easily.

Most hated thing about clash? The day the loot disappears. I don't know what it is, but I get great loot offers all the time, abandoned bases are more rare, but still possible. But every so often, what would normally take me 10-15 nexts for 150,000 gold, turns into 35-45 nexts for 80-90,000. What's with that by the way?
