Is TH9 Economy Broken?

I can only advise you to come up to Masters, my friend. Barch a base and get a 100k at least. I use GiBarch in M3, for storages worth 150k average. The loot bonus makes it 250k.

Although ironically i found THREE collector bases within the past few hours, :cool: . That's like, as rare as finding a th7, lol.

Haha, alright, well thanks for the advice, do appreciate it. I will probably try and go back up there if i can't find a sweet spot in the lower leagues.

I have a townhall 10 and a townhall 9 and both of them are rolling in loot. If you are having a problem making money then you must be doing something wrong.

I am also a TH9 in Gold III and I think the loot is just fine. I haven't been boosting as much, or raiding as much, as I did before (I'm still plenty active though), but I am able to keep 5 builders busy doing the most expensive defensive upgrades I have available, lab is kept running at all times, and walls are going up as well. A few days ago in a 2.5 hour window (boost plus two more raids after the boost) I net 27k dark elixir. And when I didn't time my builders well recently...had 2.5 days between availability...I damn near maxed my gold storages without even trying.


And to the guys talking about being happy to get 250k after loot bonus...that's really not very good...esp since I'm willing to bet that your barch for 150k doesn't get you much DE.

but it's not that bad. should be better though.

How could it possibly be better to rush to TH10. All that does is remove TH8s from your queue, at least until you get upgraded troops, but I still think it's a crazy idea.

I've been farming in masters for a couple months now, and don't have any problems with loot. Sometimes I have to next a bit, but there's always a base that I can get at least 100k of each off of, and usually a pretty good haul of DE. That's ~500k+ raid + 2-3k DE after the bonus.

Change your language settings to a country on the other side of the planet and then you'll be rolling in gold.

I have rarely carried loot from Day 1 as a TH9. This is because I maxed my walls to Level 8 at TH8, which allowed me to dump my excess gold/elixir into Level 9 walls as a TH9. My strategy has always been to time my upgrades to where I carry either gold OR elixir, but never both, and I leave my town hall outside. 99.9% of the time, this strategy gets me a free shield.

If all TH9s did what I do, I don't know where TH10s would find easy loot. I don't know how the economy for TH10s isn't suffering, given that TH9s have the elixir/gold option for Level 9 walls, except that some people don't bother with maxing walls before upgrading to TH9. I've always said that only Level 10/11 walls should have the elixir upgrade option, just for economic reasons for the TH9/10 players.

Since the matchmaking update, I have noticed in my nexting that I get way more TH10s as attack options than TH8s, which I'm not exactly loving. Also, I've noticed that I can come across a dead base before I come across a worthy TH8/TH9 storage raid, and I'm in Masters III, but I won't complain about that ;)

Champ. Seriously though. Got lucky on snipes yesterday and did 4 lavas, usually do about 2 up here, but the DE is incomprehensible and I hear the snipes get even better in the 4000-4100 range. Can't wait :D

Don't Gibarch/Barch/Arch/BAM on weekends.
