Need help getting to Giants Level 6

Hi guys I'm a TH9 that still has TH8 level troops. I need to get Giants to level 6 but getting 6 Million Elixir is tough.

What army to use and what league to be in?

And don't tell me that I should raid Th8's with 200,000+ Elixir because I cant find any of those bases in Gold 3, Gold 2 or Gold 1. Yes, I have 220 troops and the Archer Queen going to Level 5 and my King is Level 10 but saving up for the 6 Million Elixir is hard. It takes Elixir to make Armies and then I don't get much in return from the raids...

I use 75 level 5 barbs, 75 Level 5 Archers, 10 Level 5 Giants, 10 Wallbreakers, King, Queen and no spells because I want to save my Elixir.

Defenses close to max? Easier to save loot if your base layout is tough to get loot from.

Also, crystal is a good league to be in. High loot bonus, plus a lot of th snipers.

I have max Th8 defenses and the new defenses need to be TH8 level. I also have 2 Level 1 Xbows.

How did yall do it?

It took me a while to get the Giants unlocked. Maxxed my cc with war loot to help. Barch was a cheap army comp, and effective.

I have a new TH8 low account, and I can find plenty of TH8s with lots of elixer in Gold. Even ones that I can take with my level 7 troops. I also think it would help if you moved up to Crystal and put your TH out as a TH9.

If all else fail, buy the 7 day shield....7*~500k elixir per day is already 3.5mill. Meaning you just need to get 2.5mill from multiplayer raid before buying the shield

Crystal has some th8 storage bases, and some th9 collector bases, just gotta have patience, plus alot of snipers, so you will get sniped nearly instantly when you go offline with no shield.

I use barch and bam farm in lower leagues, try not to use more than one spell per raid, pm me for more help😊

Wth? Buy a shield? No. No. Put the TH outside and wait for a snipe. Lower your trophy to silver 3 upto gold 2. I just upgraded my dragon 4 which requires 7M and it was not bad. Althought there had been 2 or 3 raids in my base that target my storage but those were just a measly 200k gold/lix each.

Use barch or bam in the crystal leagues. Loot bonus helps a lot.
