what's up with the gold leagues?

me and several of my clanmates have noticed that in the gold leagues (and only these leagues really), it often takes significantly longer to get attacked than it does anywhere else, including the silver leagues.

while normally this is actually kinda welcome, as we can log off for a longer period of time without being raided, it does make the task of waiting for someone to snipe you drone on much longer than needed, which interferes with night shields and shields to safely request war troops. what I wanted to know is if any forumers in gold leagues are also experiencing much longer wait times in gold leagues, and why this is the case.

You can start count on sniping from crystal and up. Win bonus is so small at gold, that you get raided if you got loot.

the thing is at silver leagues, where the bonuses are even smaller, you're still often sniped within a few minutes of logging off, yet here in gold I've literally gone over 24 hours without any attacks on my base

That's because everyone is in Silver because they THINK loot is there. Went down there once. Never going back. Gold is Good!

I'm with ya. I went to Silver 2 to farm de a few weeks back, when I raided, logged off to wait for troops, I am sniped within a minute of logging off. But in Gold 1, I seem to get sniped much less often. It's good I guess, but I'm farming walls, so I usually only have 1 mil of each resource at a time, since I spend 500,000 on my skulls and 1 mil on legos. :thumbsup:

It's because gold league and lower crystal are almost completely abandoned; everyone is either camping in silver or trying to reach legend, sitting anywhere from upper crystal to legend itself.

You won't get raided much, and should be finding a lot of collector raids (especially around 1950) Let's please keep this a forum exclusive secret..

I've heard this happening in Silver and Crystal leagues but nowhere near 24 hours, more like 2-10 hours.

I'm in Gold II (TH8) and it takes hours to get sniped or even attacked
My TH is in a corner surrounded by decorations so clearly untrapped... But still.
It takes so much time that I'm starting to get more revenge attacks (3 out of my last 5 defences were from revenges)
During TH7 I stayed most of the time in Silver III / Silver II and I was almost always sniped in less than 10 minutes...


Yesterday night I was sitting with 3,3M gold, 3,8M elixir and 20k DE and still no attacks recieved (just going online every half an hour or so to collect from mines/pumps/drill). Consider I'm a super weak TH8 because got it just 4 days ago.
After spending almost all that gold I even put my elixir storages outside next to the TH, but never the less I got attacked 1 hour later and it was a revenge (Snipe + take the outside storages and quit, good guy)


This is not necessairly a bad thing because I can log off between attacks but it gets on my nerves during the night because I wanna be sure I'm shielded to not lose resources from collectors (or somebody attacks me and kill defensive CC, doesnt shield me then I cant req again because I'm sleeping)

good to know a lot of other people are seeing this too.

oh well, at least the upside is that we get all the good bases to ourselves lol
