A guide to reducing training time
Before I start, let me just say that this is my first guide, so it may not be perfect. Also, many of you may already know this, so sorry if this is common knowledge to you.
Reducing barracks time is usually done by switching around a few of one troop for a few of another that take less time to make per housing space than the other troop. For example, one giant, which takes 2 minutes to train and is 5 housing space, takes 5 seconds less than training 5 archers which are each 1 housing space. A small difference, but every little bit adds up.
Amount of time per housing space to train, from shortest to longest:
Barbarian: 20 sec per HS
Giant: 24 sec per HS
Archer: 25 sec per HS
Goblin: 30 sec per HS
Wall Breaker: 1 min per HS
Healer: 1 min ~4 sec per HS
Dragon: 1 min 30 sec per HS
PEKKA: 1 min 48 sec per HS
Balloon: 2 min per HS
Wizard: 2 min 30 sec per HS
Surprisingly, giants are a great way to reduce training time, coming in second place to barbs!
For example, using 8 wizards would take 20 minutes to train(if you use 2 in each barracks). But if you replace 4 wizards with 16 archers, that would reduce the training time to 11 minutes and 40 seconds(with 1 wiz and 4 archers in each barracks). Not the greatest way to cut down on time as 4 wizards would make a big difference, but its just an example.
But wait!! There's another good way to reduce training time. And that is...The dark barracks!
Minion: 22.5 sec per HS
Hog Rider: 50 sec per HS
Golem: 1 min 30 sec per HS
Valkyrie: 1 min 52.5 sec per HS
For example, lets say that you use 100 barbs and 100 archers. That would take 18:45 to train(thank you www.clashingtools.com). If you take away 20 barbs and 20 archers, and replace them with 20 minions, that would reduce the training time to 15 minutes(and minions make a great clean up crew!)
Well, that's my guide. Yes I know it's short, but I couldn't think of anything else to add. If you think of something for me to add and/or edit, I'll gladly do it, and any feedback is awesome :D. Thanks for reading!
