I really support this idea
This is definitely a great idea. You really thought things through I like how you definitely didn't go overboard. I'm very sure that Super Cell could add this and I could bet that it would be wildly popular among players.
More could probably be added although now I'll probably be going overboard. I think that it would be really fun if there was a two player version of this as well. Maybe if you press the Tournament button it can give you two options. One is to play a single player tournament where they place you in a tournament. The second is Two Player but you can only press it if you are in a clan. When you press the two player button it shows you a list of everyone in your clan. You can tap on one of them, and after confirming that you want to ask them to be in the tournament with you, it sends them a message. A notification appears on their tournament button. When they tap the button the message, "Would you like to participate with (Name) in a two player tournament." They can accept or decline.
((Remember that it is very likely that players will both be online and talking about this in clan chat as it is happening. Just keep that in mind as you read this. It is very likely that both players will be online and talking to each other on clan chat during this.))
If they confirm then you will get a notification on your tournament button and so will they. When you click the tournament button there will be a screen that shows you what your base looks like. (It's like your single player base and there is no clan castle. If you haven't yet made a tournament base then it will be your regular base.) When you tap on the screen of your base it shows you full screen. You can also move things around in full screen. But to use the edit tool you have to go back to the first screen you were on by pressing the back button. You can slide over and see what your partner's base looks like. You can tap on the screen of their base too and it shows you a full screen version. You can't move things around on their base.
When you are done fixing up your base you press the start button that is below the screen of your base. If you partner has already pushed the button then the search will start. If not then you have to wait. The maximum wait is a day and then the tournament will automatically begin. If both players haven't pushed the start button yet then both players have the ability to quit by pressing the quit button that is above the screen of their base.
When both players press start and the search begins, eight similarly matched teams are found and put in a bracket.
The tournament is the same as the single player version but instead your base is next to your partners base on an extended war map. This map is a very long rectangular map with only grass around it. (make the animation easy for this new map) The "stronger" of the two bases is always on top left, and the other is on the bottom right.
All you can see in the tournament is the other team's name, (team name is the clan name) and your team's name. If you tap on one of the team names, it lets you view the "double base" of the team. If you are viewing the other team's base, there are two buttons at the bottom. One that says, "attack together." The other says, "attack solo." If you press the attack together then a notification will appear on the other person's tournament button.
((Remember that it is very likely that this button will be pressed right after both players agree to it on clan chat.))
After pressing the attack together button your teammate has one minute to confirm the attack together. If your teammate doesn't confirm or you cancel it then nothing happens. If your teammate presses the button then you both attack the "double base" at the same time." You both place troops down at the same time and you destroy the giant base. The time limit for an attack is five minutes to give you more time.
You get one star for 50% damage of the giant base. You get the second star for destroying both Town Halls. You get the third for 100%
((I have no idea if this is even possible for both players to attack at the same time))
If it's not then cut this idea out and just have option two Like I said earlier there is another button. The "attack solo" button. If you press this button you immediately attack and the other person can not attack until you are done. When you are done and waterer damage you did is done. Then your partner can use their attack. (Unless you three starred.) They can destroy whatever is left.
This is how two player tournament works.
I know this is so far-fetched but it would be really fun.
Why did I even write this though when I know it will never happen?
