New Defense: Incinerator

This defense would be one that would be useless against ranged troops but extremely useful against melee attackers. This defense cannot attack ranged troops. When a melee troop attacks the incinerator, it takes away 1/4 of its health instantly. This can be helpful when dealing with pekkas/golems and barbarians/goblins, etc. The first incinerator would be unlocked at town hall 9. The second one would be unlocked at town hall 10. Let me know what you think! Stats will be given later depending on reviews.

So a golem attacks this, 3/4 hp left.
Attacks again, 2/4 hp left.
Attacks again, 1/4 hp.
What? To Op

So, you're telling me, that it's so overpowered it can wipe armies in only four "hits"?
You're telling me that it destroys ANYTHING that touches it in four hits?

Also, don't type like this, no one will take you seriously.

We have the inferno Tower, which can not only give a huge chunk of damage, but also damage multiple troops at once.

No troops with range will take hits from it. 1 archer will take it out eventually without being damaged from it. Your wizards, if placed correctly should take it out before the golem hits it 4 times.

I didn't mean to type in bold, it just made me for some reason. And as I said, no range or air troops can take damage from it. This attack would be a good counter to GoWipe. Except that wizards would be immune.

The fact that this defense is useless against ranged troops makes this defenses useless. Ranged troops will be able to take this defense out without taking any damage.

I'd say this defense is too powerful; The units are basically killing themselves, kinda stupid. They hit the defense, and each hit will cause them to lose 1/4 HP. This would be an Anti-Tank troop defense, which we just cannot have. Because tank troops are meant to take damage. If they hit this defense 4 times, they're dead. :/ Stupid. Open. Ridiculous. Good try. :l

Go back to the Silver League, because it seems you don't understand the concept of balance.

This defense is NOT far too powerful. Archers, Balloons, Wizards, Healers, Dragons, Minions, Witches, and Lava Hounds take 0 damage from it at all times.

Your feedback does not make logical sense. All of the stuff you stated I already knew, which was the point of the idea. Every defense seems too powerful when it's first implemented. Infernos: People had no idea what to do but they refined their attack strategies and now infernos can be stopped. This defense is truly a great one with some cool art that supercell will provide. A new troop will also probably made to combat this defense.

So you want a defense that does no damage? All troops have an attack range. :smirk:

On a more serious note. This defense is OVERPOWERED! I am pretty sure this can kill any non-ranged troop in Under 10 secondis, while targeting multiple troops. This would absolutely destroy an ground attack. Think about how your ideas would effect everything, not just that it might help a failing defense.

Oh, so all you have to do is jump into your phone, walk onto the battlefield and tell your troops "Oh don't attack that tower over there" and they will listen. Problem solved everybody!

Yeah, but something that obliterates your entire army in 10 seconds wouldn't ever not be OP. The only way to make this LESS overpowered is to make it take away 1/4 of the troop's REMAINING health. That way this thing technically can't kill them on its own.

And also, gowipe is not overpowered. Town hall 9s and 10s usually find it difficult to get 2 stars using any gowipe that isn't completely maxed.

If the "point of your idea" was to make something extremely unbalanced, you achieved your goal.

Also, I don't know what's higher. You, your hopes, or expectations.
It seems like you already believe SC will implement this, which is something that will happen when hogs fly.

Mitch, what is the reasoning behind your idea for a new defense? Is there currently an issue with over powerful attacks? Please give us insight on what case this would solve. Otherwise, your argument is completely invalid.

And like many others have said, this would completely destroy tank troops, which serve a major role in almost all attacks.

A wizard tower can take out an entire army in 3 seconds. But it's not OP right?

Technically it wouldn't take out golems in 4 hits cause say if a unit has 2k hp 1 hit, 1500 hp, then next hit would be 1/4 of 1500 hp, but it's too op nonetheless.
