How do people in champs make ANYTHING???

Preface: I am a near maxed th10 just need zaps, that's all. Offense 100% maxed, even heroes........


I am in champs just doing a little trophy pushing, just for a personal goal of 4k cups. I am not worried about zaps, they can come when they come, lavas kinda burned me out!


In the past few days, I have lost 4 million elixir, between building armies and getting raided. I have hovered around the 3350ish mark.

I am using an army consisting of 4 golems, 2 pekkas, 15 wiz, 5 WB. Spells used are usually 2-5 spells depending on base


Even on boost, basically building a war army is 20-30 minutes. Longer for spells and heroes if you want to take them out as well. I am noticing it's almost vital to have both heroes along for a W.

So boosted, you can get 4-6 raids in, in a 2 hour time period. What's the allure here?

I've won some, lost some, raided some and in the last 2 days lost 4 mil elixir and 15k DE. Soon I'm gonna run out lol.


I don't know hoe people in champs actually make enough for any upgrades, as I see plenty up here that aren't maxed.........I used to farm 12 mil a day in crystal 2......not that loot is important, but what's the allure of champs and attacking every 30ish minutes?

Win attacks, use shields.

People usually push for a short period of time unless they are hardcore and make a career out of it. Upgrades can wait. And the allure? The challenge, the reward (2K gems), and the bragging right, I guess.

On the other hand, if you manage to get up to Titan III or even Champ I, you'll never have to farm ever again. The amount of TH snipes up here is quite crazy you'd be surprised. I am in Titan III at the moment with around 100 zaps to do. I can do 2-4 a day easily just from TH snipes (league bonus 230K/230K/1.6K). My DE is overflow as I don't have anything else to spend it on except for the new dark spell upgrades which is nothing at all.

Cloud sucks big time but as far as loot goes, it's heaven. I see bases with close to maxed loot a lot and don't even care because of the league bonus from snipes.

On-topic....dunno how you're losing loot OP, unless you're trying to defend properly TH in. Don't, in short.

Resource management used to be a big part of pushing, particularly when there were no league bonuses and the 200k storage cap.

There are a lot of broke bases in champ, but then, there's a lot that aren't.

You should be making bank as long as getting sniped, even with the crazy cost armies.

This guy has it nailed!

I am hovering around 3800. My defense log is 30/30 snipes. Zero full army attacks. And all but three of the thirty are -1 trophy defences.

Put your th out, fearlessly log off whenever you want, and enjoy the atmosphere up here!

Im lower crystal ~2150 but im moving up and im experiencing the same thing as mentioned. I have my TH out and i havent been attacked in a long time, only TH snipped. Loot sucks here but the bonus is helping make up for the searching

Everyone at a high level in champs over 4k cups spend gems.
Whenever new updates come out, I always saw many people with maxed out upgrades very quickly.
Its the only way to make it.

Champ league is more of an end-game thing. The only resource I found I was in short supply of when I was seriously pushing up here was elixir though. The spells and troops cost a lot and if you are ignoring resources and only focusing on trophies it down get low. Gold builds up as you aren't spending it on anything really aside from nexts which get fewer and fewer the higher you go with search delays.

That said, my storages are full atm as well as my mines and pumps now that I am playing casually. As others have mentioned, the snipes are worth a lot up here. I can hit 10 snipes before finding something worth attacking. Throw your town hall out to reduce resource losses on def and 9 times out of 10 you will just get sniped depending on your cups. Anything below 4k is usually just a snipe. If you are found by someone for good cups they will wipe you out regardless so it's all just luck sometimes.

I'm a TH10 in master 1 with 750 M gold grab. I've batches all the way to champs and been hovering between M1 and C3 for about 2 months now. 2 hour boost session yesterday and netted about 6 million gold and elixir including 140k bonuses for each win. By time I finish 1 barch, the queued barch is ready. Takes about 5-6 minutes to full train on boost. Leave your TH outside. So between beers and when your peeing they snipe you.
