Situation Report:
- We have enough active players to support constant 15v15 at minimum.
- Currently running constant 15v15 with 2 or 3 filler accounts in order to strengthen player core at using both primary and secondary attacks as well as reduce the liability of new and potentially inexperienced players during the interviewing and/or learning process.
- Important milestone achieved 2015-09-30: Clan perk level 5 with a win record of 48-1-2!
- December 2015, Tinfoil Hat went to holiday break and paused the war effort.
- January 2016, Tinfoil Hat leadership went to help a friendly clan and maintained Tinfoil Hat's paused war effort status.
- July 2016, Tinfoil Hat back is in action!
- October 2016, Discord is made the clan's official and mandatory communication app.
- February 2017, Tinfoil Hat opens up official feeder clan to recruit, evaluate, train and practice. Our vets moves to the feeder when heroes are upgrading in order to practice their attacks and help new comers.
Back story:
Our clan was created by a few real life friends and family who wanted to play clash of clans together and have constant wars. We were a mix of veteran and new players who were coached by the veterans from the get go. We started with 10v10 and have been running constant wars since the creation of the clan. Leadership has strong communication as we discuss, analyze and learn clan wars through both direct real-life and in-game interactions. We can all speak english, though some of us are from the Québec province and are therefore bilingual (fluent in both english and french).

Our philosophy:
- In War we only care about the stars, not the loot. When everything is 3 starred, rest is free-for-all. We use the full potential of our respective armies; We never go into battle without full camps, CC, spells and heroes. We request specific troops and wait for them to be fulfilled before attacking. We only accept highest level troops for defense in our War Base CC and those are tailored based on an analysis of the opponents we are facing.
- For farming, donations don't matter. We don't use donation numbers as a metric nor requirement. People request as much as they want and you are free to donate as much as you want.
- Considering the above, all requests have therefore a priority; War requests are obviously more important than farming requests. Whenever we request for troops, we specify which unit/level and suffix it with a "FOR WAR" tag to inform clan mates it is intended to be used in a war attack.
- Our YouTube channel is used to immortalize important milestones of our clan members progression as well as retain working strategy examples. It is not meant to promote the clan or to make our clan appear better than the others.
- We are open to family and friends when commitment has been demonstrated; these family members don't have to commit to our wars, but they have to accept the fact that we reserve the right to use their base as war fillers. When they are chosen to be war fillers, it is understood that we DO NOT expect them do war attacks. If they wish to try attacks, they are allowed to in our war clean up phase.
- We don't hand out candies; we give appropriate access levels when they are earned, deserved or necessary. Recruited players stay the 'New' person until a minimum level of trust has been established after their first war with us.
Our Goals:
- Go up in clan war size; enjoy the game, learn, improve, excel, share and teach.
We are looking for:
- Serious and reliable war players that are inline with our philosophy.
Requirements:
- Must NOT be working for and/or in concert with aliens and/or Artificial Intelligence entities (must be willing to submit to a Turing test and DNA verification).
- Any TH6 to TH10 with troop levels adequate for at least one strong offensive strategy.
- Write in english
- Active, reliable and punctual players; Main attack must be performed within 12 hours of battle day start - If you don't attack in war, you will get kicked.
- Respectful. No trash talk tolerated.
- Abide to our philosophy specified above.
How to apply:
We are invite only and so you must apply to our FEEDER clan (Tinfoil Hat R&D #RRYLUP2Y) in game and specify that your are applying from the forums. Please include your forum ID in your application message if it differs from your clash name. An application message should look similar to this: "From forums - HOUNDSTER". Please note that we will evaluate your application and your village; if we deem it not inline with our requirements, it will get rejected. Also, you need to perform a few wars in the feeder before you get invited to the main clan :)
