I can say we have been solid in the past and adapted well. This has so far been the most challenging one yet.
However not every evolution of the game (update) is good, installing new stuff without fixing the old bugs or include new ones or that causes an imbalance of the whole gameplay.. is equal to impose this COC "laws" unilateral on the world. The number of inactive villages represents clear the number of users that loses interest.
Good thing it is possible to learn about the new ai.
Attack strats are constantly evolving…stay with the pack or get left in the dust.
Stat junkie here. Took a quick look at one I keep track of, small sample size but interesting:
New stars per attack: 8 wars prior to update (enemy) 1.53
8 wars post update (enemy) 1.32
Doesn't sound like much, small sample size but that translates in to roughly 6-7 stars.
Of course its possible to learn, thats why I am kinda reaching out for help. I have used the poisons on the skellies, but i typically use the poison on the CC troops to avoid the wasted time pulling.
I will try and revert back to my old strategy and just do a classic CC pull with poison saved for skellie traps, maybe then my hogs can run amok after I have taken out the AQ.
Cnaf, Thats quite a drastic drop actually, as it means the average is down and the overall arrow is pointing down.
Our clan average has dropped from 2-2.3 stars per attack in war, to 1.8 and the last war was 1.1
Ive noticed a HUGE change in the bases that i cycle through to attack. Very few am i able to attack due to their level and defenses. I find very few farmable bases anymore. Also it seems that if you blink and let your game disconnect you get attacked almost immediatly now. Since i cant sit there and keep touching it every minute all dam day i have pretty much stopped trying to advance since i cannot make any ground. A TH9 takes a ton of stuff to build up and i just cant save up enough so this has currently killed the game for me.
Our take is, SC wanted to "close the gap" on wars so to speak, make scoring closer. Now you see a lot of 88% 2 stars from the stronger clan, and 55% 2 stars from the weaker. Result is a closer score.
While we have not been as dramatic in dropping on star averages, I have seen a few reliable three star mates get 88-92% 2 stars post update. Worried me because I feared we are leaving stars on the table- but then the enemy clan attacks and gets 1s and 2s.
2-2.3 is pretty impressive. We tend to have some practice and loot hits at the end of mathematically won wars that lower ours, so its hard to get an accurate number on us. I feel like we are down a little.
