TO High end Trophy pushing folks

Do any of you get into trouble with your significant others regarding playing too long? My fiance is really getting bothered by the fact that I am constantly on my phone hitting next. Its getting so bad that she wants me to delete this game off my phone.

I may seriously have to just stop pushing all together and only war with my clan. How do you guys handle your spouses when he/she gets mad at you?

I mean the way I see it, I am still paying attention but always have to look down at my phone to either keep it from shutting off(when unplugged), hit retry(from the stupid "unable to find village to attack" message), or to either hit next or attack whatever base it finds.

It burns particularly bad when you end a 6 hour session only to have a negligible cup gain...then attacked for an overall net loss.

Honestly, lay low in 4000 for easy snipes and less serious clouds. The higher leagues are starting to get a better population, but it's not there yet. Hope this helps.

In my case i had to explain to my best ability and buy shields whenever I can. Once shield is activated - all attention is on her! Make sure to make those 24-48 hours unforgettable and to the point when she says - "ok. now you can go play that game of yours"

Tell her where to go. Men are expected more than ever to put up with the reams of things we may not enjoy of their habits and leisure time, and gaming is a bit of self time. Do it while you watch TV... I'm sure she's flipping Facebook and whatever. If it's who you are she should accept it. Thankfully I live in video games cos it's my job to, and of course it's my hobby. My wife accepted that a long time ago and it doesn't matter how time consuming or apparently geeky a hobby is, and understanding partner shouldn't stifle it.

Unfortunately, gaming tends to be treated differently to more "noble" pastimes like reading, hobbies, music etc. To non-gamers it seems particularly pointless.

My wife puts clash on par with scratching ones nuts as a useful way to spend time.

Having said that, I know that I sometimes avoid things I should be doing (housework, playing with the kids, chatting with her) because I am pressing that silly next button.

I try to find balance.

My wife is my clan leader, so if I'm not clashing I'm in trouble :)

Well, I didn't really push much before this summer, but got dumped at the start of this summer and have since been playing WAY too much clash, great way to take my mind off things. So, I don't have anyone complaining at me, though to be honest I wish I did... Ah well.

In between nexting I read my wifes Facebook page. Apparently in her next life she wants to be a sparkly pixel.

My wife once asked "If I dress up as an Archer Queen can I get some more attention?"

I replied "Hell no, you will spend all your time banging the wall."


I still can't eat solid food.
