Counter Attack
If you log into the game while your village is under attack you should have the option to launch a counter attack.
In the counter attack if you destroy an army camp it will be a demoralizing factor and reduce the attacking power of any troops from that camp by 25%
Also for every 10% damage done during the counter attack all enemy troops that are not currently attacking your village (i.e. those that are not deployed) are hit with a demoralizing factor reducing their attacking power by 2.5%
Same shield rules apply for counter attack, so can't attack the same village in a short period of time.
The revenge option remains unchanged.
I think this will increase the strategy of placing buildings (particular camps), troop deployments during an attack, and most of all have people spend more time in the game.

Hmmm
Maybe, but I don't think supercell will release this. Too complicated for some.

Not a fan, would make attacking a nightmare if suddenly an external influence is affecting you.
-
Good points, maybe a simpler version.
The revenge option is nice, but its a rather helpless felling watching your village being destroyed in real time with no options to slow (or limit) it down.

The live attacks aren't really live, there is a bit of a lag, so this would not work.

I had an idea, that if you were being attacked, and you caught the guy/gal while he/she was attacking you, you could potentially stop him/her in his/her tracks.
Basically, it would work the same way as in a live replay, but you had an influence in it. If you tapped and held on a troop, you would start sapping its health, turning it into Elixir (or Dark Elixir) (proportional to the amount needed for the creation cost). Not only that, but the attacker would be alerted with "THE CHIEF HAS RETURNED!", signaling that they were in big trouble. That way, if they were caught with a GoWiPe or a Mass-Dragon attack, and the chief returned just as soon as they dropped all their troops, those Dragons or Golems and P.E.K.K.A.'s were dead. That also means that the chief also got most of the Elixir/Dark Elixir back.
