This happened to me this morning. Requested help and then it said I was reported. Funny thing is... I am the leader of a NH that has one other member that randomly joined... He was kicked.

Thank you for your response. Is there a way to know who reported her?

Yeah. That is pretty obvious. Who reports their leader? You don't like them you just find another group?

There is no way to find out who reported unless you are a neighborhood of two. I would just ignore it and tell your neighbor that nothing will happen because it takes four different people to report before anything happens.
And then what happens is that the player cannot say anything in the chat for 24 hours. Don't worry, no armed guards will come knocking on anybody's door. Although not being able to chat with your friends for 24 hours is pretty bad.

My question to the person who reported them are, why the world did you?
Hello,
My suggestion would be don't think of any mean intentions in the first place. I had read previously in the forums that one player thought reporting was a way of communication. Not everyone is very game savvy, including very high level players :) They can be our grandmothers, grandfathers, who just play without checking the forums or wiki. So I would strongly advice you to explain your hood what is reporting and how it works prior to taking any action.
I have noticed some people are very confused about reporting. The problem is there is no where in the game that tells us what it is.
You can also report somebody by mistake - instead of tapping "visit" button, you tap "report" . And if you're ignoring pop ups in game and just blindly press on things ... :D
Tanja is right. A lot of people need glasses or contact lenses. I actually am yellow colorblind slightly. It doesn't affect my actual vision, but those yellow buttons are gray to me if it isn't a very dark yellow. Even people with good vision do make mistakes.
And if you play on a small device, like a phone, it is extra easy to hit the wrong button or text something that strongly resembles gibberish. Especially if you have fat fingers or forgot your readers... not that I would know anything about that. :smirk:
Blueroo and I are right. Just some simple mistakes people can make.
Everytime you hit the report button INSTEAD of the visit button, a bubble pops up that says ARE U SURE U WANNA REPORT (WHOEVER)? you have to click yes again. It is not accident. And if it somehow in some weird universe was, then just fess up and say it was an accident 😛 idk why ppl are so immature, as if u reporting them on ur own will do anything lol
This is an illuminating discussion on the topic: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...onday-night%29
Based on these experiences it seems that yes, people can be reported by accident, but that accident is almost always someone not understanding what "report" means or does, not accidental clicking.
