No It raises a troops total HP but doesn't heal them so a heal spell or healer is advised to be used with it. Healing effects are capped when the troop has exceeded 750 more HP :)

Lab upgrades/ building costs etc will be added. Also it's a dark spell how much space do you think :facepalm::smirk:
