Don't you hate when you are in a back to back war clan and eventually the wars start at 1-5AM your time?
This wont happen anymore with the 23hr Prep Day!
War searches take about 10-20 min, making the wars start later and later.
But if the Prep day is 23hrs, the war will start an hour earlier!
Don't understand how?
Lets say your war ends at 3PM.
You immediately start war search and war is found in 20 min.
It is 3:20 PM.
The next day, the war starts at 2:20 PM.
There you go!

Terrible Idea for Back-to-Back Clans
On the surface, seems like a great idea. However, nobody thinks these ideas through to the next logical step.
If your clan (and everyone else's clan) hits the button at the same time every day, you'll be looking at the exact same pool of opponents for matchmaking every time. THIS WOULD BE BAD.
One of the great things about back-to-back war clans is that they have to stagger their start times, which means they are in the matchmaking pool against different groups of clans (i.e. those clans who are not back-to-back but have regular start schedules).
Ever notice how starting war at certain times of day gets you matched with certain other countries, depending on what time zone you are in and what time you start?
TL/DR: If everyone could easily start at the same time, there would be less variety in matchmaking and the quality of war match-ups would suffer.
I like the idea but I would also like a quick war option.
Would be a separate search that would match up with other clans looking for the same with a preparation time of 12 hours.
I kind of have a new idea all together. Please tell me what you think.
Sometimes, for some players, 24 hours of War Prep is too much. My clan is frequently ready to begin attacking within just a few hours of finding a war opponent, and I have discovered that this is true for many other clans as well.
I propose that a feature be added to the game that allows each member of a clan to indicate that they are war-ready, and when each member of BOTH clans declare they are ready, war will commence.
** If a member does not declare they are war-ready within 24 hours, war will begin at the normal time. **
Example (1): War search is complete and an opponent is found; each member of clan A presses the "I'm ready to attack!" button. If all members of clan B are also ready, war will begin.
Exapmle (2): War search is complete and an opponent is found; each member of clan A presses the "I'm ready to attack!" button. Only 50% of clan B have declared they're ready; war will start at the end of the normal 24 hour prep period.
I think that this will keep members of a clan more engaged with one another regarding war, as well as allow clans to war more frequently. I think that it will also allow an increase in individual responsibility and leadership.

At first I thought cause there's 24 hrs in a day not 23 lol, but then after reading your suggestion it's actually really good and I agree

Love the idea of an auto search option during the last 30 minutes of war. Might also be cool if each clan could have the option of selecting "We're Ready" and the war could start when both sides pushed that button (or at the usual 24 or 23 hours if both sides have not selected that option).
Clan war 'we're ready' button for prep day and 'surrender' button for war day.
I like the idea mentioned earlier about both team leaders being able to agree for early war day start if both finish prep early. I also think that it would be awesome for both leaders to be able to surrender and accept enemy surrender early as well. Sometimes we are really badly beaten after 5hrs or so, sometimes with bad war mismatch, with no chance of winning. It would be good to surrender and move on.. But obviously enemy would have to accept surrender to make it fair for them to finish their war attacks.
