Nothing makes troops and buildings more vulnerable than a devastating drought!
Cast this spell to increase the damage done to particular units or buildings. You won't have to cast this on your troops but on the enemy's buildings instead, allowing for even more coverage. The Drought Spell can also amplify the affects of your other spells on even the toughest buildings!
I think I should first thank AnthonyVince for many reasons:
✔Helping me with the stats
✔Approving of the idea when I told him it, before I made this thread
✔Making the second part of the description
OK then, let's get started with the spell:

Core Idea
By looking at just the stats, you would think this is just a mini rage spell made with dark elixir. But you would be wrong, because the damage increase percentage is not the increase in troop DPS, but an increase in the amount of damage being done to a building. For example:
Spell placed on building and damage increases by x%, suppose it is 50%.
Troop attacks building with 100 damage
Building loses 100 HP + 50% = 150 HP
Drought Spells do not stack with each other, but they can amplify the effects of Lightning, Poison, and Earthquake Spells. They may also be used alongside Rage, Heal, Haste, Jump and Freeze Spells, although they don't amplify the effects of those spells.
Differences between a Drought and Rage Spell
✔Damaging Spells can utilise Drought Spells, while they can't utilise Rage Spells.
✔A troop does not have to be inside a Drought Spell radius to utilise the spell, only the building or troop it is attacking has to be within the radius, unlike Rage Spells, where the troop has to be in the radius, and its target doesn't.
✔While Rage Spells strengthen the offence, Drought Spells weaken the defence.
✔Drought Spells do not increase the speed of the troops, while Rage Spells do.
Graphics
When this spell is placed, all buildings in it will start flashing yellow, much like how troops flash purple when raged.
Strategies
Now let's see how this spell will affect the game.
Attacking Strategies
✔Use the Drought Spell with a Lightning, Poison or Earthquake Spell, to amplify the damage those spells do.
✔Use the Drought Spell on Infernos or Xbows while they target Knights (if Knights are added), as the already big Reflection will be amplified even more. A similar effect can be made by using the Drought Spell on splash damaging defences while they attack multiple Knights.
✔Use the Drought Spell on Enemy Heroes or Clan Castle Troops to help your troops take them down.
✔Use the Drought Spell on the core of the base, to quickly wipe it out.
✔Use the Drought Spell on loot storages so your troops can quickly take all the loot.
✔Use the Drought Spell with a Rage Spell for Mega Destruction.
✔Use the Drought Spell with a Haste Spell for a kind of weaker but faster Rage Spell.
✔Never use more than one Drought Spell on the same place; it will make no difference than only using one Drought Spell.
Defensive Strategy
✔Spread out your buildings! The more spread out your buildings are; the fewer buildings one Drought Spell can affect.
TRIVIA
✔The Drought Spell was originally called the Lava Spell.
✔The Drought Spell is the only spell that can amplify the effects of other spells.
✔The Drought Spell is like the spell version of a Volcano Mage.
FAQ
Isn't this basically a Rage Spell?
No, it's not. Read the section near the start of the thread about the differences between Rage and Dought Spells.
Shouldn't I just use a Rage Spell instead? It has more than double the damage increase, AND a speed increase.
If you want to, go ahead. But keep in mind, Drought Spells have half the housing space, and they can amplify spells like the Lightning Spell or Poison Spell. Drought Spells can also amplify the Knight's Reflection.
Here is how you can help! I'd love to hear your comments, opinions, suggestions, and questions as I can always improve upon this idea. Here are some things that would be great to comment on:

Thanks!:D
Sounds GREAT.....BUUUUTTT
I love the effects it would have on buildings but it is already kinda similar to the lightning spell effect. It also might be too OP if i had, lets say, two of these spells and 3 or 4 lightning spells and combined them over five defensive buildings; by your definition it would increase the damage done by the spells right? please respond if i am wrong or misunderstood. Maybe you could make it weaker to certain troops and make the spells non-stackable?
I also thought it would look way cooler in stead of the flashing yellow effect, it would be a kid of a cracked 'half destroyed' texture on the buildings, sort of like the Pic in the begging of the thread.
Maybe it could also inflict damage to any elixir storage in it's effect radius, as if its evaporating all the elixir out of the storages and collectors.
Please respond as soon as you can!:D
