Not worth the cost
Having additional builders would only be worth it if you could then assign them to the same building to decrease the time it took to upgrade that building.
Imagine having 6 buildings upgrading at the same time. Even with 3 builders if I choose to upgrade all defenses or a couple of barracks I cripple my bases ability to defend or attack.
I recently buckled and bought that 4th builder but I don't think I will get anymore. Having more builders would simply put too many buildings out of commission anyway. It would only be useful to sit around waiting to upgrade walls....
I think the climbing upgrade times needs to stop and using multipliers to determine upgrade cost increases (unless you continue to multiple our ability to produce and raid for loot). The time it takes to upgrade is getting ridiculous and with added buildings the overall time investment would be high anyway. I think by TH 10 time increases should be nearly nonexistent. Upgrades that take more than a weak (other than TH) are just plain annoying.
Players need to feel its worth the time to continue investing time. If you keep adding more and more time at a certain level... well it gets boring. I am just moving to TH8 and I got kind of bored of that level towards the end - especially with the absurd multipler that walls take in cost
Money will still be made. Their is not need to continue increase time on upgrades.

The builder is trained in townhalls (sort of like starcraft/warcraft). You only get a max number of builders per townhall level or they can occupy the army camp and would occupy more space (that way, players would way the pros and cons of having more builders in place of troops; ie. defense vs attack). At the same time, builders get killed during attacks.
Oh well, I wish I can have my 4th builder without spending...
Nonetheless, hooked to this game!
