sticky clan mail

I'm sure a clan rules Page has been suggested before but this idea is more along the lines of having one or two clan mail stickies that all new members receive upon joining. It may be a simple welcome clan mail or a more detailed clan mail with a few rules.
As a clan that wars often, our normal clan mails are used up with plans and instructions for targets war by war. It is simply a waste of a co leaders clan mail to post generic war rules for the benefit of 1 or two new members every war. We only have a few co leaders in our clan and adding more co leaders for more clan mail is just not a solution. And to spent 5 minutes explaining to every new member in clan chat our rules is annoying and can scare some members away if 3 people at once are quoting them.
So simply allowing one or two sticky clan mail would and could be a simple solution to a problem I'm sure 1000's of clans face.

I like the idea. I was just thinking of this the other day. Such a pain to continuously explain every 20 minutes. :thumbsup:

It sure is and what's worse is when the new members aren't online when they are accepted. Generally it could be hours n hours before they realise they have been accepted and by then they sometimes slip through the gaps and becomes difficult knowing who has and hasn't been told the etiquette of our clan.

You can always put it in your description.

I like the idea of having a separate place where to put the clan related stuff, leaving the description of the clan for recruiting information but I think SuperCell had a reason when they ruled it out. I think your topic falls under the ruled out idea:

What you are suggesting is pretty much the same thing, just that yours uses the mails for this text area..

No you can't not when you want your clan description to be a catchy witty one that attracts new members and stands out from every other clan description with rules

This wouldn't be a separate Page but rather a clan mail that only appears in the new members inbox upon joining.

What I quoted there doesn't refer to a Page, it talks about any text areas separate from the clan description, which are only for your clan to see.. identical to your idea.
