Changing you language setting makes no difference whatsoever to the raids you will get.
All the language settings control are the "in-game" language (descriptions and things) and the Global chat you are placed in.

Try to play around even hour (8:00 in the morning, 21:00 in the evening). People tends to have a target time to stop playing and you will find them. In the week-end I attack around 10-12 times per day. But not all at once. Every hour or every 2 hours. This way I encounter more people who just finished their attacks.
Since you are a TH8, you won't be able to break you shield every hour like me. But I just tell you that having 3-4 1-2 hours sessions is much better than a full 6 hour session where you couldn't find anything for a while.
To reach champ, you will need to play a lot. At 4-6 trophies per attack the last 200 trophies will be a pain.
Try it for a week or two. And you will be that much more prepared next time you try.

Barch cost has been increased, so you have to do more attacks to get your troops upgrades and the summer holidays have started in most countries, so all the kids have time to raid, but the shields are still only 12 hours long. If there are more attackers than bases available, the best bases are taken (high loot/th outside) while only the ♥♥♥♥ that nobody wants stays in the queue.
At first I thought the barch nerf would stop players from barching for 50%, but the sad reality is they still do it, but do more attacks to get their upgrades, at least it seems that way.
Also there are a ton of th9s farming for elixir now to get lvl4 dragons and their dark spell factory up. Less elixir in the economy always means gold/dark loot will suck as well. It was the same last September after elixir for walls for th8s.
First I thought the barch cost increase would be a good idea, but now I think a build time increase would have been better. The barch did not get players to use better troops, but it sucked the elixir out, which prevent better troops and gets the players to use barch (especially barbarians that are still cheap).
What I would like to see:
.) Less shield time in crystal and above allowing more attacks. Maybe the could make temporary event for times where more players attack (summer holidays and christmas).
.) A new troop in the middle between the archers and the wizards.
.) Valkyrie build costs decreased at higher levels. Make her 70/80/90/100 instead of 70/100/130/160. They are great for farming at lvl1, but at lvl4 they get too expensive.
There could be 3 types of attacks:
a) Low tier attacks with barbarians, archers and minions (2 elixir + 1 dark troop) - 1 tank, 1 ranged and 1 between
b) Mid tier attacks with giants, the new unit and valks (if they are not ruined after upgrading, 2 elixir troops and 1 dark troop) - 1 tank, 1 ranged and 1 between
c) High tier attack with golems, wizards and pekkas (2 elixir + 1dark troop) - 1 tank 1 ragned and 1 between
Some players claim that bad loot is intended by Supercell and they hide inactive bases, but I say it is the opposit. When loot is bad I see only empty storages, but there are more inactives shown, because if the queue is running empty, Supercell seems to include more of them.
That website is mainly for forecasting loot, not trophies.Quote:
