I like using all wizards, and a few healers in my attacks. I am getting very frustrated that they now run all around the the defenders base to take out the easy targets. Before the last update they would mostly go right thru the defending base. I believe it has to do with the last update that said troops will go for the easiest path, well it just plain sucks! Please fix it

Never heard of funneling, and up to the last update I never had this problem.

It should mean that all of these troops target the very closest, most accessible building, of any type.
They didn't under the old AI. They would needlessly bash through walls an awful lot (ranged troops) when there were buildings in range.
We, the players, more often turned that to an advantage.
My very first raid using wizards post update, I lost them. I was used to: blast outer buildings, walk straight up to wall, blast what's inside, walk in.
They didn't. They walked along the building line. Which makes sense really.
Do you walk past the first toilet if it's clean?
So.....I figured out what I had to do to create the troop behaviour I wanted.
Startling really. Such an intuitive leap.
In short, you cannot core now with range only troops. They use their range, and legs, to find more buildings.
You call that short
It's because they increased the HP on most buildings. You need to take extra time to clear them out before deploying your Wizards. Wizards will always go to the closest building. If you start them on an outer target they will just hop to the next closest one and follow them all around the base. You need to clear the outer buildings from around your entry point so they chose a target behind the first set of walls and work in.Quote:
