Trophy system sucks

I've spent a lot of time playing clash and it's been great.
but now considering stopping playing.
why?
Im 3591 (Max 3725)
max defenz n heros, not max walls, mostly Lego.
Just got attacked by base almost identical to mine, Max defence, Max heros etc, within 100 cups of me, I get 2 starred and lose 24 cups??
at this level when I'm on the prowl c 3/4/5 cup bases maybe odd 10/11/12 n occ 20's.
But my base was given to a player equal to me as 36 cups for three star??
this is happening all the time, whole sessions are wiped out by an attack, yes I do get the occ defenz in champs.
And no I'm not a sore loser, if this been a th9 with a v kool attack, I'd post in the clan and respect to the player.
but what's the point of all these new leagues if basically u have to spend all day playing n gem armies, just so u keep ahead of the cups that u lose on defenz?
Just ridiculous, was going to push to Titans and try beyond but I c no point unless I win the lottery n play all day.
Just dumb, game has been ruined.

There is already a gazillion threads on this. The trophy system is fine, learn how to raid properly and you will be fine, max your walls for better defense then your base won't be beaten as much.

People need to stop with the crying on trophies. Look if he found you, you could have found him. So he would have probable been worth 27 or so trophies to you. Yes you will see some low cup offerings as you climb up the ranks, but if someone at 4200 cups is complaining about one cup offerings, then you can see them for 48 cups. The only people that should complain about cups are in the 4900 range and they know the reason their cups suck is because nobody is higher than them.

The offer for a base which has the exact same trophies is +30 for 3 stars
So if he has slightly less +36 is very likely to be.

Think about those in the 4800s that are always offered as +40 to +59!

I don't think you've read any of those gazillion threads. Raiding skill is not the issue, and neither is base strength. The issue is how lopsided cup offers get- you see single digit offers and get offered for 30+.

That being said, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for that. Offline/unshielded opponents are more common at lower cup levels, so you see more of them. But when you log off you're a high cup unshielded opponent, so you get found instantly (often for tons of cups).

Actually if the guy found him for 36 cups he would have been worth about 23 or so to the OP.

Anyways, that's the way of this game. It's the same anywhere past Champions league where you start seeing lower and lower offers and you get raided for more and more. Either grind it out or don't push up there.
