Clan dilemma

I'm a TH9 with max defenses (upgrading the new leaf blower), lvl 10 heroes and a combination of purple, skull and lego walls (about 1/3rd of each). My plan is to work on walls, heroes and dark troops in the near future.

Now I have been in this clan for as long as I can remember, its a friend's friend's friend sort of thing. It has probably been more than a year since I joined, it's a full clan and I'm one of eight co-leaders. I'm well respected and one of the top players in the clan. The donations are fantastic and you almost always get what you want instantly.

Now that we're done with the good, the bad. First up, the other co leaders are wimps are can never take a decision on their own. In spite of throwing out multiple suggestions, all they will say is "we'll ask the leader". The leader btw is a terribly rushed TH10 with TH8 or lower defenses. His decisions for clan wars are downright dumb and no one objects.

Now to Clan Wars, major issue. All TH10s are rushed to a certain degree and are terrible attackers. To the point where even two starring a TH9 such as myself is a task for them. But as they are TH10s, they think they're amazing attackers and a 1* on a TH10 with all dragons is celebrated. I've opted out of wars for about a month now.

This brings me to my dilemma, I've been thinking about leaving, joining a war clan and/or eventually starting one of my own. I'm not perfect but Clan Wars are pretty much dead to me in this clan, we hardly ever win and eventually everyone has started opting out. The war on right now is 10v10 despite the clan having 50 members.

What do you guys think is the right thing to do in my situation and what would be the right moment for it?

If you aren't having fun with the clan I suggest leaving. The game is meant to be fun and if you aren't having fun because of clan issues I would move on. It's happened to me with leaders ♥♥♥♥♥ing and being jerks so I left. It may be difficult to start a clan because the best way to start a clan is with friends, and if your friends are the ones that are the issue it may be better just to join an already established clan.

Do it, leave your clan if they can't do anything.

why stay there if you are unlucky and having a bad mood there?

getting the troops you want should be a standart in every half way serious clan - at us sometimes you get what you want instantly, other times you wait a few hours until someone says 'xy is coming'.
On wars it's speeded up a bit, there's kinda always some asking for a pekka, dragon, golem, witches, so the people who can build these have mostly one or two leftovers to donate due attack day.
Think it's like that in many clans.

Also if you doing well, on attacking, also on social things, you will be respected pretty fast in almost any clan.

As I see it, these are the only reasons to stay, uh?


So Opt.1: Try to change your mates, take the lead to war organisation and stuff - worst case forces to a clan split, but that way you also have some known people around you to start a new clan.
Opt.2: search for a new clan, but it may can take some time to find the matching one...

I've never been in another clan, so I don't know what goes on!
But you are right, this is as far as I can go in the current clan.

Do it now;) as ur missing out a lotta loots from, war. So join a clan that wars every often and get the win, get the loot. Makes upgrading stuff much easier. Hope this helps:)

If you are unhappy in your current clan, nobody can fault you for leaving and if you have no incentive to stick around while you upgrade then you need not wait. You can upgrade in a clan, out of a clan etc etc, it might be easy with better war loot, and you might get better war loot if you join up with a war clan who make better strategic decisions during war.

Sounds to me like leaving is probably the best option here. If you're TH10's are happy with 2-starring a TH9 then you're going to struggle in wars, at least for the forseeable future. In a clan, the TH10's should be the ones who are most knowledgeable about the game and lead by example.
Leave a short message explaining your decision if it makes you feel better.

I know you're worried about leaving the clan behind but they should understand your decision (it may even force them to re-evaluate what they're doing) and you will find other clans that are friendly and donate generously.
Find an adult clan with good season donations, check their top players for rushing etc..

I don't mean to sound abrupt or direct but one solution is to man up and express these opinions with a view to changing the clan for the better. Jumping ship might have it's appeal but the grass isn't necessarily greener...the ties and friendships you've built shouldn't be underestimated.

Talk to the leader and the other Co's, explain your concerns and promote some positive change. I was in your position a few months back but I decided to stick and right now our gang is flourishing.
