I have an older iPad mini and the battery life is really good, easily get a good 6 hours of Clashing out of it.
Would love to upgrade to iPad Air 2 but my old one does the job just fine.

Walmart is selling the iPad mini 2 for $265 right now. That is unheard of. They are trying to compete with Amazon.
The struggle with smartphones is real! Need to have a charger with you wherever you sit.. That's why I am hoping I can clash at least a session calmly with the iPad.Quote:

I'm on iPad 2 WiFi. Yes, old device and I have been clashing using this for 1.5 years.
On average, weekdays continuous 4-5 hours/day online CoC. Weekends I play about 6-12 hours/day.
Even as of today, a full charge can last me 7-9 hours. Go figure the strength of the battery.
Compared to iPad Air, the newer ones will have faster processor and more memory. If you don't mind older device that can perform as well, but at cheaper cost, iPad 2 WiFi is the way to go.
