Do you not know what the word 'except' means then? Do I need to quote the dictionary?

But anyway, back in the day when having maxed heroes and walls was twice as hard (probably more) and even less frequent, the term maxed referred to solely defences. 'Completely maxed' was what people used for when they were completely maxed. It makes a lot of sense to categorise them that way and is a lot easier to use in conversation than having a full list of all your individual upgrades to avoid offending a certain JJL66.

Im maxed out TH10 except for everything.

IM partially maxed TH8 or I'm upgrading as to have no builders free,, But I don't wanna upgrade the fart machine.....

If I have 99% maxed out base,
what is easier?
To tell you the levels of 99% percent of my base
or
tell you that I have a maxed out base except 1%.

Maxed th9 except for walls, heroes, and 1 blower.

All troops maxed for th9
All spells maxed for th9 except poison and earthquake.

Maxed means maxed.

The average clasher doesn't use the term correctly.

Max defensive is entirely different than completely max (walls, heroes, lab, bombs/traps, etc).

Most people who say "maxed" usually mean defensive, and maxing defensive is usually the easy part.

It's the walls/heroes that take the time.

What if a player maxes both walls and heroes while defenses still trailing at TH9/10?

I say defensively maxed TH10 as my heroes and walls are not fully maxed. I can't say lab maxed anymore due to the new spells that I need to upgrade for a while. It's an easy way to explain where my base is. I'll also say I have abase weight of ___ as well to other serious folks who know base weights.

Not sure why you are so worried about the semantics of it though?
