Gems Spent Stat

So I know this would probably never get added, but it would be interesting if we could see a profile stat for how many gems a user has spent.

Then we could see who truly fully grinded out their bases, and who gemmed their way to the top. For example: there is a guy in my clan who was a TH5 when I got to TH9. He has now passed me and gemmed to TH10 with the new defenses, troops, and spells. I am still TH9, granted with better walls (all lego and some lavas). Since he doesn't gem everything, you can't really tell from GG or EE stats.

I have absolutely nothing against people who buy or spend gems, but just think it would be a cool stat to track. Thoughts?

You can know if the player farmed his base or not from other stats. GG/EE/HH gives a great image about player in most cases. Yes this won't be added ever and I don't see any benefit in adding it honestly.

It would just create trouble because people would be trolling and flaming each other and calling them gemmers and stuff, no it wouldn't work.

There are lots of free gems gained over time and some people buy gem just to boost. I don't think this would be a smart addition considering it would just add to the flaming on global.............and we all love that:smirk:

Whilst I agree with this to an extent the GG/EE/HH is not a complete definition of who has gemmed. There are players out there with max collectors that do not farm a great deal and rely on what they collect themselves in order to do upgrades.

It isn't a quick way of doing things but is achievable up to a certain level.

This idea could fall under "logging gem usage" on the list of ruled out ideas.

I do occasionally buy gems, not insane amounts though, I do buy some to boost barracks occasionally, but I would not want somebody seeing gems spent in my profile, so I agree with Supercells decision to not implement this.

All my bought gems and in game gems go towards Boosting barracks.

With the EE/GG to back it up.

So if my gems spent is high your trying to say my 1.5 bil gg/ee stats are for nothing?

And how much have you spent on gems total? If you only use gems for boosting barracks, your gems spent would likely be a lot lower than someone who gems upgrades and resources all the time. And like you said, your impressive GG/EE stats would support your activity.

I'm more thinking along the lines of comparing 2 people, let's say, TH9 both with max dark troops and lvl 20 heroes. One has 2 million HH stats, one has 32K. Would be interesting to know how many gems the 2nd guy spent (and yes, I realize that guy probably doesn't want people to know that info).

Also could be a privacy issue, money and whatnot.
