I have taken a 3 months break last year (I got bored).
I haven't farmed at all today.....
on my main account.
Aside from sleep every day I go on vacation once every 15-18 months. I don't play when I'm on vacation.
Yeah last year I had a 2-3 month break after that 'hero re-balancing' update. I was grinding both heroes hard back to back as an end TH9 and that happened. Felt as though all that work was for nothing.
Took a break and tried a few different games...but none compared. Eventually crawled back to Clash of Clans and found out hero regeneration time was clashed considerably to even out the re-balance.
Have been going strong since.
I stopped playing at th5 because I thought upgrades took too long but my friends got me back into it and now I am a th10 where upgrades take two weeks haha.
I've taken 3 months of semi breaks during my final thesis in university around 12 or 13 months ago, dropped trophies to 200 or so to stayed away from being opted in the CW.
Last year I was sick for three days. Couldn't play for two of them. You know your sick when your at home and can't even clash.
I took one 7 month break and stop playing completely.. probably would be a top player if i didn't do that, kinda regret it. would be a solid TH10, only a Th9
Started playing in Aug. 2013 and joined the forums on December. Maxed TH8, except king, somewhere in mid 2014 and moved To TH9. Maxed my defences immediately and elix troops and hogs, hogs were so cool back then.
Took a 7-9 month break because wife started complaining. She started playing candy crush and got addicted, so now I'm back!! lol! true story!
