No "got" here. I figured out how not to be "got" in the first cup push. This is more a message for shall we say, those not experienced enough in the game to understand the consequences of th trapping:)

I hate when people do this, it's so annoying, I usually just use my full army to get their TH or take their loot and not bother with townhall, especially if it's against a noob TH7
Start cooking your freeze spells. Love watching low tier troops get melted.
I don't trap. I said I thought the trap was annoying but some people might find it amusing. Doesn't make sense to do it if you're playing seriously but not everyone plays the game the same way. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting your response. I agree with most of your list as reasons not to trap though. I've had friends who thought trapping was a good idea until I explained to them the cons of adopting that strategy.
Don't get me wrong. I like snipers. I am going to do this out of curiosity. Never have seen a sniper yet bring a strong base wrecking army. And I get sniped 3 or 4 times a day. Depending on how active I am that day. Just a bit of experimentation.
Snipers don't, no. But he is not saying he is a sniper. I am assuming the situation is that he has GoWiPe made (or some raiding army) and he sees the TH outside so he drops his Queen. That is pretty normal and you don't have to be looking for a snipe to do it. It's just free loot and then you start searching for a raid again
